Eucalyptus Perch?

I see a bunch of threads about NOT using eucalyptus shavings, but I can't find any on using the branches as a perch. They may be here, but so buried by shavings threads that I can't find them!

Are the branches okay for perches? Do I need to treat them with something first?


I used to have a chameleon, and I would bake any wooden items I wanted to add to the cage to kill off anything evil, but don't have an oven big enough to fit a 10'+ branch...

The volatile oils are mainly in the leaves. The branches shouldn't be a hazard. It may even help repel mites.
