Eurasian A5 confirmed in NH

When they detect this in wild water fowl what do they do go in and kill every bird in this area? Just wondering how they get it under control?
My friend is a warden in the area, he said they are doing their best to reach out to all the bird owners in the area to educate them and work on strategies to prevent spread. As far as the wild birds go they are currently monitoring the situation and as I understand they aren’t doing anything other than that. Perhaps there will be changes in some hunting regulations?
Usda chart i was just looking at shows it all up and down the eastern flyway.
Another friend in the midwest talked about whole flocks of domestic turkeys being destroyed when it got into them.. like commercial barns full.

Also from over in the NH thread.
