Hmmm... I like #2 better. The one with less black in the hackles. Run them out til at least 30 wks if you can.

I also like #1, although they are both nice - if you can keep them a little longer you could evaluate them better.

I have only one good Legbar rooster right now and I was really obsessive about his health until I got 4 cockerel chicks from GFF which are now growing out. Kept hatching nice pullets, but cockerels - not so good. It is great insurance to have a backup, especially a nice one.

Sometimes the soup is good but sometimes you wind up in the Soup!
