Nah, I'm actually going to set up a breeding pen for him, he's the fastest growing thing I've seen yet. Maybe throw in a rw hen just to see what happens...

I Braised a Pita Pinta on Saturday, Made Chicken soup from the bones on Sunday and then Chicken Pot Pie on Monday.

It was all very tasty!

They are not sold by hatcheries. Green Fire used to sell them but does not have them any more. They are available from breeders--find one close to you and send them a PM.

James Meeks used to sell them but it looks like his website has not been updated in a long time and he does not respond to pms or emails. Deanne(just struttin) and Maggies Dad may be able to help you though.

Thanks Ron. My girls are molting and the next gen is not yet laying. I am hoping to have eggs in Jan, and chicks in Feb if all goes as planned.
