Cackle.....If you are just starting to get eggs, you have to be careful. That durn Easter Bunny will slip some eggs in the nest occasionally and sometimes they may not be pure EOs!!!!! Congratulations..........

I only have the one cockerel in the pen but I don't like hatching itty-bitty eggs. I'll wait at least a month to start collecting the eggs. Meanwhile my 2nd daughter gets dibs on all the bite sized eggs. She loves them!
 
I am STILL AMAZED at the size of the eggs I get from the original Greenfire birds. The first Skyline birds I got also lay huge eggs but not like the Greenfire EOs. Something has to give though, last night I went in the kitchen and counted and I have 22 dozen in cartons from the last week.......I can only eat about a dozen a day without having a ................well anyway, I can only eat so many!!!!I Hope our Farmers Market opens soon.

Put a eggs for sale sign at the end of your driveway. I do that when I have too many extras

................................now MD.........my nearest neighbor is only 3 or 4 miles. And he has 150 Laying hens!!!! But his eggs aren't as big or pretty as mine.......I better HUSH now!!!!
