The good news is that the flock doesn't have anything contagious. The bad news is that I panicked and treated them for Cocci and they don't have that either. No worms either. The lab is no testing the cockerel to see if he had a brain hemorrhage. It's giving them a great puzzle for the day. I'm so relieved!

All of you that suggested I keep the eggs. I am doing so now. I have 6 already. I will gather for the next week and see what we get. Thank you all for the encouragement.

Looking for opinions on Hans here. I feel he is an improvement since my other boys have so much gray/black. Hans seems to have to high a tail angle but that seems to be a minor rather than major problem since hens are low carriage.

Nice coloring. I agree about his tail carriage - very high, looks close to a squirrel tail.

Very nice looking rooster there OR4-hmom. His feather colour is excellent, he does have white in his tail feather and that tail is too high but overall he's a beaut!!!
