Now is the time to do all this YH, before we narrow it down and lose all these other genes. If you guys in the US are getting Blondies, James must have some, and you have every chance too. I agree, that Zilarra may be the easiest.

I will have to wait and see but I have some that look like your pic of a young blondie so I will assume we are getting some from Jame's line of birds. I am still learning so I am not certain. I would think the Beltza will be the hardest to pull back out of the gene pool and of course the one I want most, lol.

Thanks! I am going to candle again when my present hatch of Sussex are done and see were I am at...my fingers are so crossed...Right now out of all the chicks I have my little EO comes up to me..the other will look but she will come right over..Well what do you think it is pullet or cockeral?

With the rounded eye, straight beak and wing feather pattern, I see a little pullet. The boys I've hatched from Jame's eggs have a black/white wing feathers instead of black /brown like hers.

Those are great looking. The coloring seems perfect for the pullers and the roos.
