Mine are 9 weeks old and I'm impatiently awaiting them to grow up so I can see how incredibly gorgeous they will be. They are the most gorgeous juveniles I have in my grow out pen and the most friendly for sure! these photos are from 3 weeks ago, they are much bigger and more colorful now
It's a candy-store of colors. I also have a couple of pullets that have a gorgeous blue in them. Does anyone have adult pictures of the most common colors? James?
I don't want to jinx myself, but ALL 15 of my EO eggs from James went into lockdown last night. Unreal! Hoping for a great hatch...holding my breath and fingers crossed...
I met Cheryl's young EOs, and besides being gorgeous, they are the calmest, mellowest little guys...just reach down and scoop one up for some cuddling.
I don't need to scoop. I put cupped my hands in the brooder box tonight and one jumped right in. It didn't panic when I raised by hands to the top of the box, and actually seemed dissapointed when I lowered it again. So up it came again for another look-see. Now I've had chicks check out my hands and sometimes jump on and right back off, but they usually panic if I move.
boogiedog your are obligated now to keep us posted on your hatch and provide pictures.
