Very pretty! I have 20 in my pen and at 8 weeks are looking very similiar - I have some boys with more white and a few extra girls with blue - as you've got pictured.

James can you show the different coloring on the hens? Will the blue stay?

Just catching up on this thread- I have enjoyed everyone's EO pictures and stories! I hatched 7 EO's yesterday, they are adorable and all seem to be healthy. I am glad to finally have them here!

it appears the roosters of these gorgeous birds is considerably larger than the hens. what is the adult weight of both roosters and hens in this breed?

Just how do you go about weighing a chicken? Is there a special scale? I have a postage scale, but I don't think they would cooperate and stand quietly on the scale . . . .

I got 13 EO's in lockdown!! Very suspenseful! In total awe that all 13 (shipped eggs) made it this far with no loses. I hope to report a hatch rate of the same. We shall see! I am so pleased to add this wonderful breed to our farm.
