Great pictures, how do you talk them into posing like that ??

I notice the cockerel's legs appear dusky
They did do a good job of posing for me. Just another great thing about EOs. ;) I have a photo that looks like a chicken with two bodies and one head. Actually it's my pullet that has willow or greenish gray legs. The cookerel has yellow. I'm hoping my second batch of chicks has yellow legged pullets.

Well, Skyline has done it again. Out of 25 shipped eggs, we had one quit and 24 make it to lockdown, just like last time.

On a side note: out of the 21 Swedish Flower Hen eggs I set in the same batch, only 14 made it to lockdown, jUsT sAyiN.

And check out my all white roo from my first batch!

Well I have applied to join the EO forum, so I hope to see you there. I see the SOP has been there. The hackles of some roosters I have seen on the net really does look like Penedesenca roo's hackles.

Hopefully this summer or early fall I will be able to get some... my first priority is getting the layer flock going to take care of that pesky feed bill so I can focus on the breeds that I want. But in meanwhile, research research research!

I understand that mardunna EOs come in the crele/buff color only? But apparently there is white.

Thanks!

Marraduna is a color variety of the EO. The white variety is called Zilara. The Black is Beltza. Gorria is the red, there are 2 other varieties. A naked neck variety lepsola and another one that is supposed to be extinct the llidona. I think I got the names correct or at least close :) They are working on Gorria in Canada. Marraduna is the only variety in North America that we know of. I am working on Beltza and Zilarra along with the Marraduna.
