Thanks everyone they're about 24 weeks old now, this is what I cut down to from the original 33 I hatched from James's eggs...I think there was about 16 roos inthe beginning and he was about the best all round and has been mating the pullets for a couple of weeks now so I'm thinking very soon, and it's not for the want of checking

And a little chickie that isn't even 48 hours old is getting it's feathers? Is this normal? I noticed them this morning.

Sherrie, yes, their wings feather fast. Day two you see wing feathers. Crazy!
