Love your pictures Meg, they all look great. All you boys feather colours are beautiful

Thanks guys!! I really love Jessie's dark coloring. It's really striking in person. A lot of them have bright yellow legs too. They're doing so great!

The purple Pita Pinta cockerel started crowing last week at 9 weeks! It's a weird strangled crow but definitely a crow! All of the others look at him like "what the heck?!"

Can't wait til I can get some eggs from these guys!

Anyone ever hear of a Bielefelder?

The roos look a lot like an EO to me.
I looked them up on Feather Site and they are cool, but not quite the same as the Marraduna. They are Auto Sexing but they are cold hardy. Marraduna a Heat Hardy. They do fine in the cold, but really shine in the heat.

They are great looking and seem like they would be good Dual Purpose chickens. I would not try them where I live because of the heat. Are there any in America? They have only been around since the 1970s in Germany.

I believe Greenfire will be importing these in the near future. Interesting anyway.
They lay a dark brown egg. Similar to a #4 Marans.

Quote: They are very nice looking. If Green Fire imports them, they will be the next big thing. I try to wait a year or two after that to get them for a reasonable price.

Other than the Rhodebars, these look like they are Auto Sexing with great utility.

The new images setup is really powerful - I'm loving how you can grab all of a members photos in the thread and view them in a gallery.
