I know- we are cursed!!! weekends do get kinda quiet on this thread huh? That usually when I catch up with everyone---thats awesome about the gunieas! I went throught that with my meat birds-they never went into their coop and I had to pick up 2 of those fat buggers everynight to put to bed! Then I put a few roos in with them to butcher too and they followed the roos in every night-how many gunieas do you have again???

The weeknds get really quiet, and I get lonley sniff, sniff

I only have 3 guineas. The original plan was to add about 6 more next spring, but Kenny has decided he hates them and made me promise nit to get anymore. Of course if someone sent me eggs that just happened to , you know accidentally, be G eggs, that would be ok!!

He was really hoping they would freeze this winter!! Of course winter hasn't even started so he could get his wish

I LOVE JASPER!!! he is so so cute-we have a ton of free loaders-I have like 50 chickens and only get like 12 eggs everyday-not cool -but at least the ones that Are laying are the fertile eggs I sell on BYC-I make enough off of them to support their feed bill and partial electric bills so far...I figure if I sell 1-2 Doz a week they are supporting their non laying selves hahaha-then I sell all the other eggs for eating-so far it works I have 52 eggs in bator

I can't incubate this time of year because I would have to brood them in the house for a longer period of time and the only place for them is in the living room. It really isn't big enough but is our only choice. Have I mentioned how much I hate living in a trailer

I have 17 hens and am getting one bantam egg a day right now!!!

We added a light on a timer a couple of days ago so I hope that helps. Now with the guineas going in there though, that could stress them out too.

They are going on 3 this next Spring. So you dream of a bigger house too!!
