Michelle any news on Lindsie today?

First of all, nice to meet you Robin!

My FIL took Colton down to see Lindsie yesterday and she is doing really well. New release date is tomorrow. He brought home a pic the nurse took of the two of them together laying across her bed. Him in his sling and her with her nose all taped up and her wires and tubes. It really was kinda adorable! She will come home with her jaw wired shut for 6 weeks (may be 5 now) and her feeding tube and have home health come in. Colton drove his dad's car to school this morning. He hasn't had a pain pill since Sunday evening when he went to town with Freddie. We have our football game tonight, but we will drive Colton again like we did last Wednesday.

I have been called that many times too, but I am sure it was the first time for Des!!

I am sure Des will have something to say. I overheard her parents tell Colton the other day when we were there that the 2 of them have been through so much together that they must be made for each other.

Really? They have dated a couple of months and were in a car wreck, I hardly think that classifies. I was in a major wreck at his age in HS with my friend Shawna and her boyfriend Shane. Does that mean Shane and I were meant for each other? Nope, didn't like him before the wreck and it certainly didn't change my mind afterwards even if it wasn't his fault. Shoot, him and Shawna didn't even stay together even though they dated forever! I am just going along with "this too shall pass..."

We do know that as of the hospital stay that Colton is not expecting. The nurse confirmed that before he went for tests on Monday night!
