When I had Destiny I made sure I didn't name her after anyone so there would be no hard feelings. I broke down and named Colton's middle after Jimmie and was very upset that he didn't point out to me it was his mom's name too!

The reason I ask is that is my middle name, but mine is Rae. I am named after my Grandpa Ray Elwood Brown. Hence Raymonds name too, Raymond Elwood

I added the mond part, sounded more baby like. Now all of his friend and teachers call him Ray, but he will always be Raymond to me

well it's almost 5 and the sun is setting pretty quick. i have to go to the store and then home. by the time i get there, the chickens will all be at roost, the dogs and cats will be waiting at the front door along with the DH and farm hand waiting on supper. Everyone thinks that because it is dark outside it is time to eat. In the summer, we don't eat till around 9. It will be 6 and would think they were all starving to death.

but on the bright side -- it will daylight when i leave in the morning, (and of course I am thankful for all my critters to go home to)....

You are probably right
