Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Yes, so far good news. He doesn't have to wear his sling and he can use his that side, just not lifting. We go back in 6 weeks for another follow up. He is thrilled he can at least do something now! Lindsie goes to the doc tomorrow to get her trach and feeding tube out. No stitches or anything, the holes will heal in about a week. She is doing really good!

I work with someone who is in need of a wood stove so she offered to trade us a hot tub for it. We need to go down and look at it and her set up to see how much work it would take to put in the stove. So, we don't have it yet. I keep saying we need it for Colton's therapy!

That's wonderful news! Showering should be a lot easier now, eh?

Right?!

Did I tell you all that my house is all decked out for Christmas

Kenny brought in all the decorations and the tree yesterday,Then he went outside and put up lights while I decorated. Then when Raymond came home last night we decorated the tree. I put up the rest today and Kenny hauled the totes back to the shed. All done, til Jan when it all goes back

But it looks nice and festive for now. For those of you that pray will you ask that Raymonds friend is a part of our family by Christmas, it would be so wonderful for him but especially for us. Thanks a lot.

I am so glad both Colton and Lindsie are recovering so well. The tummy tube as Raymond called it was a pain to have removed. I think it scared him more than anything, it was traumatic for him, but keep in mind he was 12. His healed shut almost immediately. He doesnt remember the trach coming out. His scar is still a little visible but he doesn't mind, his Dad has a scar in the same place from a surgery. Let me know how it all goes for her.

Tehe. My house has been decorated for a week now, too. Actually a bit more.

Rabbit is starting to adjust to the basement. He preferred the sunroom, but I was scared someone would accidentally let the dog in - or that she'd let herself in just to get the rabbit. Plus, we don't usually close the sunroom door. It is hard for me to open and shut it too much (it slides and is a bit hard on my back).

Rabbit will like the basement when he gets used to it. He has an area that is 5 or 6 foot by 8 foot all reserved for himself. It's got a temporary fence around it so I can supervise him being let out of his cage. This weekend I am going to build him a more structured fence that is safe for him even if I'm not home.

It will be something he can't hop out of even if I'm not home. I want him to have more space than a bunny cage. I'm thinking 2x4 (or whatever I have in the shed) for supports & for a base, and hardware wire (size depends on how much I have). Then, I might do some sort of top, at least over part of it, if not all of it, to keep him from trying to hop out somehow.

you gals have decorated already? Oh my gosh Im a slacker!!!! I usually dont do it until after Tday when I find the time-and even on Xmas were lucky if its all put up:-( You have now put a fire under my butt now that Im on vacation!

Hey everyone! Still around, not fallen through the cracks yet. lol Just been really busy and lots of work. Have not had time to catch up yet. Hopefully will have time to do that tomorrow or Wed. Think bout yall and think of how much talking yall are doing and I am missing it all lol.

Did want to share a story with yall befor I head to the shower then to bed.
Yesterday DH spend hours sitting in his deer blind only to come home empty handed but when he pulled into the driveway, there was a nice big doe laying in our carport. She had been shot right through the heart and someone had brought it when he was gone and me and Isaac were prolly still asleep cuz I never heard anyone come up. We cleaned it and got it on ice waiting to be processed. I am so happy to have it but it is bugging the stink out of me trying to figure out who gave it to us. No one will own up to it! lol

Anyway, we have more meat to go in the freezer soon and more work at the post office than I can stand, so I guess life is good on my end of the world. Hope all yall are doing good too. Might find out if I am having a boy or girl tomorrow if the ultra sound goes well. Hope to talk to all yall befor Thanksgiving gets here and is gone. If not, hope yall all get stuffed and have a good time with your families.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my fall decorations .. so I don't put Christmas up until right after Thanksgiving .. and I start by adding Christmas decorations with the fall decorations and then gradually taking the fall decorations out ..
