HI hunny--at my SIL's new restaurant-we spent all night cleaning and decorating and then I took the day off to waitress for her ( I surprised her as she didnt know I was going to do that!) and I gave her all my tips--Im just sitting here now chilling eating fried MOzz sticks

Back from lunch and all that good stuff.

Tanya--We went to our fave restaurant and I had cheddar cheese baked potato soup with ham in it and a french dip sandwich. It was pretty amazing!!

I am compiling my grocery list for later this afternoon (please someone shoot me before I have to go) and decided on a roast in the crock pot (easy on the onions) and hamburgers on the Foreman grill. I asked hubby for help ideas and all he came up with was choc. chips for Des to make more cookies and mountain dew. Gee, thanks for the help dear.

If you have a Price Chopper, Arm Roast is on sale for $1.99 a pd. How about homemade french fries with the burgers? You could make them with sweet potatoes!

Unfortunately no Price Chopper. Just Hy-Vee and Save-A-Lot.

I did think of homemade ffs, I also thought of homemade onion rings. It will depend on my mood. Shoot, I may even bake my own buns like Tanya is doing. or not.

Depends on how intense my cross stitching gets! I plan a pretty low key weekend again, my last Saturday of sleeping in for 10 weeks.

My husband made burgers with homemade chips (frrriiiiesss) yesterday for me. If you boil the slices for a few minutes (depending on thickness, just until barely tender, not soft) and then roast it, it comes up GORGEOUSLY crispy like you fried it in pigfat and soft on the inside like fluffy mashed potatoes injected calories under the skin - but it didn't!!!

I still don't know how one is supposed to catch up on this thread. If people told me how, I missed it!

I want a roast to on cheat day, Sunday. It just sounds so good, gravy and mashed potatoes.

But Kenny thinks he wants to go out for a burger, can't make up his mind! He will wait until I don't have time to thaw the roast. Easy on the onions

FUNNY!!! Maybe I will save the leftovers for French Dips, that is one of my favorite things to order at a restaurant. Hey Nat does your SIL sell those?!
