Nat, really feel sorry for you and your DD. Don't know how in the world you held it together while cleaning up after her. Hope she gets better really fast. That's the worst kind of sick in my book.

My Favorite Animal

Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken."
She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else in the class laughed.
My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA.
He said they love animals very much.
I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was.
I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children.
So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.
She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am.
Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most.

I told her, "Colonel Sanders."
Guess where I am now...

Yes I wondered about that too but all it says it that they love animals and for sure, they do whether you agree with them or not! Lol! I just thought the whole thing was funny!

Morning ladies! Just woke up (love the days Wyatt goes to the sitter, although sometimes it mkaes me feel bad that I enjoy it so much) and having my coffee.

Yesterday I cooked the rosster that te puppy killed in the crockpot. Made Chicken a la King, Chicken & yellow rice, & have a ton of chicken stock and some meat left over...maybe chicken noodle soup or something tonight.

Went ahead and voted. Looks like we're getting beat by quite a bit though.

algo - your son is adorable with the snow! I didn't ever see snow until I was 16, so of course I was making snow angels and acting like a little kid! DH was quite amused since he grew up in OH.

I also despise folding laundry. I don't mind hanging things up though. My mom is the exact opposite...hates hanging things and likes to fold.

Nat - hope your daughter feels better.

chickenchick - OMG, that story about the chicken milk was HILARIOUS!

Michelle & Des - We can listen to the radio station online?! Why didn't I know this?!?!
