Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Good Morning! I think we got around 5 inches but that is just a guess from having to trudge around in it this morning to feed the animals!

Kelly...too bad you missed the HP thing. You could have told me if it is worth a trip from Mo! I forgot to ask you where you stayed. When we were there for an Elks convention, we stayed at the Peabody. When we checked in, DH used his Tony Stewart credit card. The girl at the counter was a TS fan too and upgraded us to the grand tower. Everyone we were with was so jealous cause we got a free continental breakfast every morning and had a special card to get to the top 3 floors. It was really cool!

Sorry it's so cold Tex. We could surely send some of this snow your way. We have plenty!

Where is everyone this morning?

No word on BigIsland yet?

You mean you weren't outside at 5:30 this morning with a ruler to measure the snow? Des was! She also attempted to scoop the walk, but came in for a few minutes to eat breakfast and it had already snowed over. Then along came some smarty pants on a small tractor and cleared it off just like that! She was happy though that she didn't have to go back out!! Hubby was up at 2 am pushing snow and is now at work. He should be fun to be around tonight!

Snow Day! No work for me today. Well, okay. I have loads of work to do. I'll just be working from home instead of having to go in to do it. I'll still be earning my paycheck.

The Snow is up to Lucy's belly out there. Poor Nero wasn't sure how h was supposed to potty in this deep of snow, ROFL.

When he comes in tonight, hand him a sandwich and a glass of bourbon and tell him to go to bed! Lol!

That's probably about right! He did learn yesterday that he got a raise, so that may help his mood a bit. But, he may have to push some more when he gets off too. I imagine we will have to come in early again too. Even if we have school, we will be getting calls. People were especially annoying this morning. "I was wondering if you have any cancellations today?" "Yes, we have several."

My favorite:
Me: "Good Morning, KTTN, this is Michelle. May I help you?"
caller: "Trenton R-9" followed by a long pause, finally
Me: "What about it?"

caller: "I was wondering if you have heard if they are having school?"
Me: "Yes, I have"
caller: "Well, are they?"
Me: "Yes, we have been announcing all morning that classes have been cancelled."
Jerk!

Roz--Our college even cancelled classes today. Used to, they never did, but in the last 2 weeks they have missed 3 days. When I told my boss they had called he looked at me and said "weenies!" If you only knew John, it was probably the funniest thing I had heard in a long time!

He's on a roll today... It went a little something like this:
Me: "Senior center closed and no home deliveries"
Him: "Well people should know that since it's closed, but I guess we'll put it on there for the stupid people."

ROFL No way. I let the puppy out to go potty, checked to see if we were going to work (literally got up hours earlier than I would have otherwise for this) then went back to bed until 8.

I fully intend on working on school stuff this afternoon then having a YouTube hour tonight. That hour usually stretches to two or three but I love doing this on occasion. (My YouTube time is 100% music videos, sometimes accompanied by a hard cider or three...)

Just went and measured. Our snow total was between 6.5 and 7 inches! I'm not shoveling this time...

Good morning girls! Sounds like Michelles whole family was up way to early

That is great about Jimmys raise though, I hope it was enough to make it worth all the extra tasks he has been given

Charmed and Roz I am sorry you got dumped on. That sure was a pretty pic you sent last night though Roz. It is so flat around here, that my snow pictures arent very good. You can't really tell how much we get.

I think I sent you one at 5:00. That was early in the snow -- we'd had maybe 3 inches there. We more than doubled that later...
