Unfortunately thats how we are begining to feel. There has been several circumstances lately that make it seem like he is using us to get away with things behind FMs back. Her and I talk almost every other day, and it isn't all about the kids. We have become friends. I know he must feel like I tattle on him once in a while. If he wouldn't lie to one or the other of us he wouldn't get caught

Keep an eye on him when he moves in. There is a fine line between being a parent and a friend.

You are SO right. Kenny and I were just talking about that this morning. He needs to know that if I am legally responsible for his actions then I am going to parent him, just like I do my own. PERIOD!

Yea I know what you mean. I am just saying that he acts like he thinks I am different than FM. He has asked me to lie to her more than once. I just tell him that I would be very hurt if he did that to me.

In my case anyway, I think they listen more when you aren't "legally responsible" and think you are smarter.

You just need to find that fine line, it is tricky sometimes, but it works.
