I have been having the urge to go "junk" shopping as my dear husband calls it. I am jealous of your new store

I need to take Sophie to the vet in the next town over soon, maybe I will do it on a day Kenny works so I can browse their second hand store, and they have 2 antique shops. I sure wish you all lived closer so we could go together

I wasn't going to go, but Jeanette slightly twisted my arm and the next thing I knew, we were hopping in the car. We made one stop so we could call it a business venture! A friend had told me about Pamida, so I caved in and checked that out too. I got some towels, tablecloths, rugs, bowls and other misc. The highest thing was a basket for cookies with a recipe on the top cover. It was 1.99 and really cute. The rugs were 1.09 and everything else cheaper. I try not to do that very often since I have enough crap at home I need to get rid of, but I sometimes just can't pass up a bargain!

This spring Roz and I are plotting a shopping spree to all the second hand places she talks about. Just fly into KCI and Des and I will pick you up on our way! Kelly can meet us there!!

I hit Pamida Christmas sale last year and got some great deals. Somehow i didn't find the time this year. I would love to join the shopping venture. I will keep playing the lottery.....

Sorry about your grandpa Nat. That has to be really hard on your grandma. Does he recognize her? I have never been affected by Alzheimers. It's got to be rough.

he recognizes her and a few of his other 10 children-only the ones he was with ALOT-his 2nd oldest DD and his 2 oldest sons who he worked with for 30 years before retiring-thats it though-NO grandchicldren or great grandchildren either-but then again he didnt soend alot of time with us so I understand..

Rozz-wake up now!!! haha we didnt think it was alot of $ to spend seeing as all our friends weddings were costing 2x that much as their parents helped them or paid for it all-so we thought we were on the cheap end haha...my parents couldnt pay for anything-they didnt have money our whole lives and it was never expected-they did offer a deal to my brother and I-they had 10G saved and offered it to me or my brothers first year of college-I gave it over to my brother who in turn failed out his first semester for being a partier-

algo - glad your fiansco with Sevedo didn't turn into anything serious.

My boss's daughter is married to a Mexican guy and has 2 kids. He got deported last year and they just had his trial - he's not allowed back in the states for at least 10 years.

On the other hand, he did have a bunch of previous offenses, DUIs, etc, so I guess you can't really blame them for not wanting him around.
