I got the sidewalk covered in ice melt. Like I told Tanya last night, Des and I picked up plenty of stuff to do some baking this week. With air temps down to -11 by Thursday morning and that's not factoring in the wind chill we are also dealing with the cold on top of tons of snow.

How was everyone's weekend?

We had a record breaking almost hot day Saturday. It was in the 60s. I was delivering mail all day with both of my windows down and wearing a t-shirt and shorts! lol They said some places like in Memphis got temps up closer to 70s.

I am going to spend most of the day cleaning and DE-CLUTTERING my house (since my nesting syndrome had finally kicked in) but wanted to check in and see how everyone else was doing.

Michelle and Des and Rozz (and anyone else in the storms path), really sorry to hear about the upcoming storm. Hope yall don't loose any power or heat and can stay warm and cozy in your houses. Do lots of baking. That's what I always like to do when it is snowing out.

Oh, almost forgot, got the recipe for orange slice cake from my mom this weekend. Will post it later when I need to take a break from cleaning.
