Sorry about your job. I hope things get better. What's with the post turtle? I think I missed the joke somewhere along the line...

It's a balmy 78 here right now.

Keep that cold crap up there where it's suppose to be!

I voted on picture #2, but there were so many I liked!

I'm caught up for today...now to go back and read the 12 pages I missed before that!

That is fun. What a great way to pick up peoples spirit. I wonder what it would sound like if you fell down the steps...

Years ago I saw where they were testing (somewhere over seas) the roads. You know the tread in the road when you come close to a stop sign? Well they were testing a road using that tread and if you went the speed limit your tires would play a nice sounding tune/song, but if you went too fast it would make a terrible noise. they were trying to keep speed down.

Awwww I love my husband! One of his employees wanted to quit and put in a week's notice. We've had these friends that have been HARD up. He lost his job as a bricklayer because of his back and has been taking odd jobs for cash but their centrelink payment barely covers their house payment on their second mortgage and just... ugh... and these people are like the FIRST people to be there for you if you need it, y'know? Their house was like 1 metre away from being flooded. They literally couldn't leave their driveway, that's where the water had stopped. Anway, they've not been doing so well.

So my husband offered him the guy's job!

3 days a week, and since he has to drive about an hour he can stay with us now and again if he wants to save money on petrol (moron, when he was better off, made his motorbike SO fancy that it uses MORE petrol than a V6!!).

I think my husband and I are going to be together forever. He always does kind things like this and he compliments me on my kindness, though I do not think myself as kind as him. Gah, I'm being a sook - ignore me. I'm all soppy. Maybe I'll make a heart shaped cake and leave the prose for personal poetry, hahaha.
