Tex, the satin looks really pretty. Wish I could do that but DH painted ours white befor I ever had a chance to stop him.

Thanks for everyone's opinions on the baby name. Always helps to hear from others.

Robin, we will have to call him Ian since my brothers name is Josh and that would get too confusing since we are real close and together a lot.

I love hardwood floors!

The floors are birch. Hand scraped, solid hardwood, and BEAUTIFUL .. I love all the different grain and such .. let me see if I can find a pic.

G'day!

I ADORE hardwood floors. My floors LOOK hardword but they're plastic.

AND... BONUS: Hardwood floors survive floods!!! Just in case none of you knew. That, and china in china cabinents. So, y'know... the more you know *little shooting star*.

The coop is down to frame and my husband told me I wasn't allowed to work on it and I was to go out tomorrow with my girlie-o and have a great time and come home to a finished coop! Husband thinks he can finish the whole thing for $200. Which is WAY less than I thought when I saw how many darn boards that boy screwed up with his zillions of nails!! (he split entire beams because he used 8 nails in 2 inches of space... repeatedly)

AND! We have a use for that crappy shadecloth!! I have a garden that's poorly fenced in a corner and we're going to use the leftover good scraps to put wire around it, shorten some of the more busted up coop beams for a fence and then put the shadecloth on that so m veggies get half sun but not HOLY CRUD AUSSIE SUN DIE DIE DIE.

My cucumber looks like it wants to take over the world, though.

He's scared of the doors...

I told him I was going to stain the backside of one of the closet doors so he could stand in there and look at it first.. lol.

then if he likes it, we'll go for it ...

He has to warm up to things .. sometimes it takes MONTHS ...
