I dislike the Westboro freaks as much as anyone. However, so long as their picketing and protests don't cross the line into physical assaults or causing damage to property, I support their right to protest and picket. I disagree with them and think that their ethics suck, but I support their right to protest on public property or from private property if they have permission of the property owners to be there (aren't trespassing).

I understand why the courts made this ruling even though I can't stand the group involved or the way they do things...

When has picketing or protesting ever change your mind. Me for one have my own beliefs and really don't know of an instance when something of this nature swayed me one way or the other.

I do agree with Rozz in the fact that we have rights. Those men being protested against they did fight and die to keep our right alive.

Oh, and just found out that my boss (and the only other full-time vet at my clinic) gave her 30-day notice. I figured it was coming b/c they've been treating us both like crap for a few months now. I wish I could find another job and get the heck out of there!
