I am afraid of some of my roos Ive had-thats why they are no longer with us:-(

I had one roo that had me starting to feel that way .. and I told myself:

Self ... that roo weighs 2 pounds .. you weigh 150 .. what in the h3ll are you afraid of!!

So, Sis just called freaking out because she isn't packed.

I talked her off the ledge, developed a game plan and sent her to court! I told her as long as she has clothes to wear to the wedding and grabbed the Tom Tom, she should be good to go. Two summers ago we took a long weekend to Memphis and she forgot her purse, we made it through that, so

We figured if we run late, we will just blame it on her court time running late. Mom will never know the difference!

Nyquil makes me even sicker. First I'll vomit....

My chest feels "tight" with this today. Yesterday I was really short of breath. My throat is starting to feel strange, too, but I'm hoping that's psychosomatic...

I am testing out something else that I've wanted to try for a while today, though. I have a lot of papers here that I want to get rid of. However, a lot of it is stuff that I need to keep. Some are old papers from school. I don't need them handy all the time, but "want" a copy of them. However, scanning all this crap is just not possible. It would take too long. Even if I bought one of those auto feed scanners, a lot of it has been bent or dinged up over the years and wouldn't feed through. So, I'm doing a "test run" with a couple dozen sheets using a tripod and camera. We have two tripods, so I want to test angles with both of them. I don't need perfect images, just enough that they could be used if needed/wanted.

I found some papers while I was at the other place last time that I've been hunting for for two years. Problem: the box had been stored in an out building. It had gotten moisture in it. The edges had gotten moldy...

These puppies are not even going near my scanner bed. The digital camera is the best solution I can think of...

Something has really stressed her out this morning, but she didn't tell me what it is. I gave her a pep talk and told her how it was going to be and the whole time I could hear her slamming things in her suitcase. I pointed out that Wal-Mart is right down the road from the hotel if it is something we all forgot to pack. She finally said "You are right. I am going to go to work and come back to this later." (good sis) I am expecting a similar call from Mom any time now!
