HFLL - I lost one of the new Nigis and one of my older Nubians that I've had for a year or so. She was my favorite.

Luckily I retained her doeling this year and will have someone to remember her by.

algo - Cute pics! Love the blanket - I couldn't crochet something if my life depended on it. I can't even sew buttons back on pants.

Roz - Glad to hear the good news!

I had 5 little Marans chickies hatch - 1 wheaten, 1 black copper, 1 blue, & 2 splash. I got most of my garden planted today, but had to stop b/c the dirt got so hot it was burning me through my pants! All I have left is the beans, peas, and carrots. I'm going to try to get them into the ground tomorrow. Had to take Wyatt to the doc today b/c I thought he had chicken pox, but it wasn't. They called it viral xanthema (sp?), which just means a little virus that gave him hives, so I have to give him zyrtec for a week. He doesn't act like it bothers him at all though.

It's rise and shine today, I already worked for 2 hours at 7 and again at half past five this afternoon, the sun is shining and boy it looks like spring overhere with an nice temperature. Today BF and a colleague/ friend from work is going to start with my Greenhouse

I got 7 fertile eggs so I am over happy and hope the hatching goes well.

Morning...


I would say good morning, but it's been kind of eventful. Woke up feeling bit on the edgy side, happens a lot when I think too much about what is going on. I got up and got in the shower, about the time I got good and wet, the valve where you turn the shower on and off (it's one of those you turn from cold to hot) well the darn thing came off. Water was blasting straight out and hitting the wall and pouring onto the floor. Being that I had no idea where to turn the water off to the house, i go running outside, in my robe and start running around the house looking for the main valve. looked up and saw the well house to the office and said this is my only chance, i ran over turned the main off, ran back to the back of the house to see if there was still water running -- It was off.

cleaned up all the water, went and grabbed me a smoke and a diet coke and sat out on the swing and cried for a minute -- than it hit me, God new I was going to be in a funk all day and decided he needed to change my train of thought. It worked. I had one of the guys from the office came down and fix the shower. Got in, watching it very carefully got my shower and a xanex, got ready for work and here i am. Sitting here laughing about it.

Oh, and to top it all off, the water turned iced cold as i was trying to get out of the shower....


It's all good, It has to be.
