Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

morning ladies.

beautiful weekend it was sunny and in the 70's. perfect.

Purple, i just love looking at those pics every time i come on here.

Kelly. glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the beach. i am so ready to go, just have to decide when. I wanted to give you an update on buddy. Come to find out when the vet tested his blood the vet was using expired strips. so they are not real sure what his actually reading was -- over 600. After they found out what they were doing, and after buddy had been on iv fluids and several shots of insulin, the bought new strips and his blood level was at 200. Since it is a very small clinic they do not have the staff to do round the clock care and told my boss she could transfer him to Augusta to the animal hospital or take him home. She decided to take him home. Buddy started eating real well this weekend and keeping everything down. Said his spirits were rising and when he went outside wanted to stay out and play. My boss is taking him back today to have the IV removed and have them check his blood, if it is high she said she was taking him to a different vet and let them tell her what to do. They have given him all the hookworm treatment and antibiotics for possible urinary track infection. I am just happy he is eating again.

Well be talking to y'all throughout the day.

San sounds like you had a nice weekend too--happy to hear that.

HFLL - Glad to hear Buddy is doing well! If it's that small of a clinic, I'm not too surprised their strips were expired. It's hard to keep something like that in stock when you don't use them much...and those tiny little things are expnsive!

I have 4 new fuzzy butts in the bator and 6 new ones out with a broody!
