Michelle is going to be a new Mommy!! Hubby has finally decided he likes Mocha! It took him long enough to warm up to her! It is so sweet, now he will put her to bed at night and sometimes even get her breakfast for her.

Charmed my thoughts are with you. I know this is a tough time of year. It takes a awhile before you can look back and smile over memories of holidays past instead of cry. My Moms favorite Christmas song was Silent Night and her fav hymn was Amazing Grace. I can't hear or sing either one without bawling. Only now they are happy tears with sweet memories. Hang in there sweetie. We are here for you.

My cowboys came through for me today. They defeated the undefeated saints. go COWBOYS!.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am beat, had to do some digging today. oh and the girls are not laying yet. Tomorrow they will be exactly 4 1/2 months. Fingers crossed.

Hello there chicken friends! How are you all??? I miss you all too! I have been busy, was supposed to have a potential puppy person come today, but they stood me up. I am hoping to get my laundry finished tonight, and just a few small presents wrapped yet. I just can't seem to get warm tonight! It is quiet here!
Ahh.. I see that NY has been hitting the margaritas without us...

he he he I did have three Bahama Mamas last night

and staying up until 2, we had a family dinner at my aunt's, it was a very nice get together. So I am feeling just a bit of strung out today.

Chick- I can completely understand your feelings about Raymond's doctor. Maybe you could send him a card with a small note with your sentiments to get to express your appreciation of him. Wow, your family has went through quite an ordeal.

Michelle, did I read you are getting a new dog? Will it be soon you get to pick it up? What a wonderful gift for a dog needing a home.

Hey RIR, I turned the light off in my coop the night before last, and only got 5 eggs the next morning. Last night I turned it back on due to the outside temp- it does provide a bit of heat, and today I had 10 eggs. Quite a difference! I am sure any day now for your babies to start making breakfast!

Jazzy! How is it I always seem to miss you! Thank you for the suggestion. I think I will do just that! I will send a Christmas/Thank you card. It was/is hard and something I would wish on no one. However with the grace of God and DRs like that one we still have our son. He does suffer some disability, but we can live with that. Thank you for your sentiments

Did you ever get warmed up? I must be hitting that "hot flash" age or something! I am usually freezing, but lately I am the only one in the house taking OFF my sweatshirt.

Well I am as ready for the big day as I am going to get! I have to wrap my Aunts ornament today. Tomorrow I will deliver my husbands Grandmas goodie tray and put together the Lasagna we are taking for Christmas Eve dinner to my Aunts. That should be it!

Good Morning everyone! All this talk about drinking.

After all the whining I did about having to go to the in-laws, I was sick Saturday! I woke up with a headache and went about my business hoping to shake it off, but then my stomach started turning and then it was lunchtime. I finally told Colton he was going to have to take me home. Now. Poor kid, we didn't even get out of town that he was pulling over for me! I spent the rest of the day in bed. I felt a little better yesterday, but woke up this morning with really puffy eyes. Not a good time to be sick. At all.

I don't think I will be bringing home Mrs. Beasley. Hubby says no and I don't think Thunder would like it at all. She has surgery tomorrow and will be available Wednesday, but I just picked up some treats to donate to the shelter and hope she finds a good home. We really don't need a new dog, but she is adorable.

rir--How about them Cowboys?! I tried to stay awake to watch most of it!

charmed--I made the cheese dip and oreo balls last night. We didn't try the oreo balls, but the cheese dip sure was good. Seemed to be a little salty, but still pretty good! I am going to take them both to my party tonight.

I think I got my shopping done yesterday! At least I am going to call it good. Hubby also got Destiny and I our first pair of bib overalls yesterday. Des got pink ones and mine are maroon. He also got us work gloves, nice and warm with fleece lining. He said he was going to hold off on wrapping them in case we need to wear them later on this week!

NY--Did you get all that snow they were talking about on TV over the weekend?

55 and cloudy. Woke up to KPBS asking me for money on the radio. Funny thing is I was dreaming about a girl I know asking me for money for KPBS.. amazing how what we listen to while sleeping can get in the dreams. She was following me around saying , I could use some money for KPBS and I was thinking in the dream well what is 5 bucks 10 bucks at the most, but then she asked for 60 dollars and offered to give me a KPBS bag in return for my 60 dollar donation.

yeah, the other day I had a dream where I was the leader of a drug cartel and woke up to kpbs doing a special on cartels. I have to get some interesting things to listen to since I know the stuff works it's way into my dreams.. mmmmm.
