Awwwww!! I want a goat! DH won't let me have one. You'll have to have goats for me, Michelle! I'll enjoy them through you!!

Same here! I have asked, begged, winked, smiled and... Well you get the picture! I am not getting a goat! I would be so happy for you if you get another one. Of course that means pictures!

Oh Michelle all of those pictures are just priceless! Hubby doesn't look like he minds that goat one bit and doesn't Colton look like a catch with Bella! Des and Bailey , now that is a frame able picture right there! AND Nester, cuteness overload!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was standing in the garage all pathetic looking and hubby asked if I thought she was going to make it. I said, she will if I have anything to do with it! He then picked her up and she slept on him all evening. At least every hour for over 24 hours Des and I had to force feed her with a dropper to get her to eat. We were also still bottle feeding Bella at the time. Thank goodness it was a weekend! She slept between hubby and I for the first several weeks, when my mom didn't kidnap her and take her to her house! Therefore, me and those girls have a pretty strong bond!

Colton likes to complain about my goats and gives me a hard time about them, but trust me, when we have them at a petting zoo and all the girls come around and gush over the cute friendly goats, he is right there to take responsibility for them and show them off!

I can just imagine. I have helped feed a bottle calf once. Little ones are soooo cute! They have baby goats at the sales every once in a while. I'll have to work on DH between now and then!!

I got Bella for $15 at the Tina sale and Bailey was given to me. He couldn't argue that. It is the $20 a bucket for the milk replacer. Their grain though is actually cheaper than dog food. Seriously though, I may have some opportunities and will let you know. My friend Stephanie sold several of hers, but will probably have some new babies in the spring. Between her having the stuff and my wonderful expertise

Brrrr I am trying stay warm here tonight. I need spring too, this is long enough to freeze! I was just thinking earlier, that I should ask everyone what they are reading now and get some book suggestions. I just finished Under the Dome and then On Walden Pond by Thoreau. I think it is keeping me from my pacing.

LOL my youngest son (6) LOVES to look at the smilie list, he gets a real kick out of watching them, it is so cute.

Michelle, I don't know how you do the water, I never could do that, as hard as I would try! I just cannot sit and drink plain water like everyone does so often now. Good going so far!

My girls will trek far and wide in the deep snow, is that unusual? If I do not let them out to roam around, they literally go nuts at the door opening until I give in.

Thanks for the welcomes

OMG too much to read I am just going to start from here.

So my girl Hilda has been laying faithfully since she started. She is laying faithfully every morning at 9:30am she has laid an egg for 7 days straight. The other girls are squatting when handled so I figure they will begin laying shortly as well. I got a call from the person who got the bulk of my girls and said that he got his first egg today.

Oh thanks for the PMs. I was on sabbatical. hehehe

Oh and regarding weather, I am glad to say that my California weather is going to turn for the worst in a couple days. We have rain coming which is a good thing because we can use all we can get. I feel bad for my girls and my cat because they have to stay indoors and don't get to sit out and catch some rays with me like we usually do.

Loved the pics everyone has been posting. When the rain and such get here I will post one up for your guys to see how miserable we can be in California as well.

Oh thank goodness rir! I would have hated to have to come to California looking for you! WAIT! Its warm there, can you still be lost? Charmed will grab her horses and Michelle can grab the dog, NY grabs the beer, wait what do I bring? I know, I will pack the food!! We will be right there.....................

Good morning everyone
