Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Good job on getting the coon, again, I would not be that brave! It is going to get a little warmer today, but we have been so lucky! I woke up at 2 AM to thunder! No, nothing in the forecast, but we got a little rain! I hope it stays nice so we can get the sheet rock hung in our bedroom. I picked out the paint, vowed to not look at any more samples and going to go get it this weekend. I had to compromise, but I am happy with it. We agreed on all but the trim, he wanted dark blue, I wanted hunter green, so we let Zee, the new kitten decide. It took her about 3 seconds to paw at the blue and eventually try to eat the paint chip, so I agreed, but made her sleep on hubby's side of the bed since she took his side anyway! The other option I had picked out will eventually go in the living room, so not so bad at all!

The new babies are doing great, but were kinda loud last night. I think they were hungry and Mama didn't get to them fast enough. When she climbed in the basket, they practically attacked her! I can't wait another week or 2 when they get really cute!

Charmed, I have been reading the thread about the dog/baby story. Is there an update on how the baby is doing? It is just a horrible story all the way around.

I haven't heard anything Michelle. If I were those poor people, I would stay as far away from the media as possible. They said yesterday that the baby was going to live but I don't know the extent of his injuries.

No kidding! They say you never know what you would do unless you are put in that position and I thank God that I have never have. It is a very controversial topic anyway and everyone has their opinions, but none of them are going to help the family now. I just hope that poor baby makes it and has a long functioning life.

Had lunch again in the park with another beautiful day! I am going to kick myself in the rear and go home and get things prepped for this bedroom. We have kinda taken it easy this week with the kids gone, but it is time to get serious. Unfortunately, long story, but I have to come back in for about an hour tonight to help a kid out for the state Colgate Country Showdown.

I have my 20th class reunion tonight too! I work till 3:30-shoot home grab girls-drop off at Aunts house-go and play softballl against the other team who is first tied for first place with us-run to my sisters and wipe the dirt off me-then shoot to the reunion! oh happy day!!! what are your plans this weekend?

Glad you are in a great mood, I am trying to be and overall it is working! Reunions, I didn't even go to one of mine until a few years ago when I had my 20th. I didn't think I really cared to see anyone again, but I had the best time! I was horrible with remembering who some were, but now I keep in touch with more than I ever thought I would. There's nothing like knowing there's a little part of your childhood still around.

My weekend plans? Well, you guys have heard enough about the bedroom, but that's what we will be hitting hard. The kids have started back from Indiana about an hour and a half ago and it should take them 8-10 hours to be back. I also have to come back in to work at least tonight for a while to help a kid get ready for the Colgate Country Showdown, but that is a rant in itself!

Good grief! But that's a good idea! You can start making and selling coon skin hats!

My friend works with a girl who trains hunting dogs, so when we trap them we call her and tell her to come get them, just don't let them come back!! Seems like we have more possums than anything around here.

Michelle, have you seen any armadillos up there? They have made their way to us. I see dead ones on the hwy alot now. Haven't seen any on the farm yet. I don't think I would know what to do if I did. What do armadillos do anyway?
