Good Morning All!

I use Dry Idea, clear gel, unscented. I really don't like for my deodorant to have a scent.

I have pics to post later, I took one of the stove, but didn't feel like putting on my rubber boots to take any more from other angles. I will get more though. I also have a cute pic of Bella and a story to tell about her.

chickenchick--I tend to agree with algo, kids are just mean at that age. But just in case someone does want to wear them, have Raymond sprinkle a pair with itching powder and leave them on the bench again!

algo--More new babies!

How eggciting that is!! Today is Thursday. Our Orscheln's gets in their new babies on Thursdays! I am still waiting (not so patiently) to get a few new ducks at least. I keep thinking I will get the brooder out so I will be ready when I find them, but I was never one to plan ahead for things like that, so...

Good Morning! First I want to say "Welcome Debbie!"

How exciting building a home! What kind of special touches are you adding? A friend of ours built a BIG house(they have lots of $$$) and put a small door in the back of their garage. It goes into the pantry! So no toting grocerys into the house, they just shove them in the hole! Brilliant! Ok...and if this is something everyone knows about already...my only excuse is...I don't get out much!!! Ha!

About my granddaughter. She is in 1st grade. The class sits in groups of 4 with their desks facing each other. The second day of school, the teacher sends DD home a note saying Bailey was unruly and was moved to the corner by herself.......SHE IS STILL IN THE CORNER BY HERSELF!!! The teacher says Bailey has self esteem problems. HELLO??!!! Wouldn't you if you were put in a corner by yourself for the whole school year?!! The teacher says Bailey has trouble making friends. HELLO??!! The other kids are afraid to be friends with her cause she is in trouble constantly in the corner! This is first grade we're talking about. I don't know what this teacher has against Bailey. She is the sweetest thing and has never had the problems this teacher says she has. Her preschool teacher and kindergarden teacher just loved her. This teacher is now wanting to hold Bailey back a grade yet all her progress reports are good. Her reading has improved greatly this year. Well, DD is meeting with the teacher, principle, and some others this week. I am sooo upset about this. FIRST GRADE! How can you treat a child like that in first grade! I'll keep you posted.
Chickenchick....I'll bet it's bullies taking Raymond's stuff. Bullies are everywhere and I'm sure they think Raymond is an easy target. I use to get picked on at school too. I hated school. Have you asked him if he has been getting picked on? Would he tell you or maybe be embarrassed about it? This is just my guess. Talk to him about it. Ask him what he wants you to do about it. Leave him in charge. Self esteem is everything if he is getting picked on. Trust me on that one. I hope I'm wrong and it's just some poor schmuck that needed PE clothes!!!

They either stick them in a corner or demand medication for them. I am surprised if that hasn't been suggested yet. Tell your daughter to go down there and demand answers why that sweet little girl is being treated like a diseased animal!!

Funny you should mention that....the Teacher did tell DD that Bailey had ADHD and needed to be medicated! DD has a letter from Bailey's Dr stating that is not the case. She is on top of it. She is madder than a momma bear!

MU lost to #12 seed Nebraska!

So, they are done with the Big 12 Tournament. I doubt they will make it to the big tournament!

Good News! I finally get my hair cut this afternoon! It has been driving me crazy, so really overdue!

I had a feeling they had suggested meds, that seems to be the "in" thing for kids that don't behave as little robots in their chairs.

Mine is starting to get shabby too. Then I always end up getting it all cut off. I think today I will get a trim and some layers put in. I can't stand for my bangs to be in my eyes!

Here is a pic of the stove, it is between our house and garage and this is the back side. It is so muddy to get to the other side and by the time we dealt with Bella (story coming) I didn't walk around to get other views. I promise they will come soon.

This is the best pic I could get of all the ducks and geese together yesterday. They were really wound up. (refer to the Bella story)

This is Miss Bailey in her "manger" after the new pen was built Sunday.

This is Miss Bella and Destiny having a bonding moment. Destiny is explaining to her that she can't help her out of the new pen.

This is Daddy and Bailey. He is explaining to her how important it is for her to stay in the pen.

This is Bailey snuggling up with Colton trying to talk him into letting her out of the pen!

And this is what Destiny and I came home to last night.

Miss Bella decided to get into the duck/goose pen again and this is her peeking out of their house. She stayed in there even while we got out of the van, got the camera out and took the pic. We couldn't figure out why she was in there until she finally came running out to her and Chester promptly chased her back in! She was scared of a little ole goose! Colton came out, of course mad because she escaped again, went into the pen to get her. As he is trying to heave her back over the fence, Nester comes up behind him and is "goosing" his rear end! (wish I had pics of that!) He had no humor in the incident, but I thought Destiny and I were going to pee our pants laughing so hard at the scene. (after he left, of course) Meanwhile, the whole time this is happening, Bailey is literally crying at the top of her lungs because she thought she lost Bella.

Life at the Shaw Ranch, never boring!
