They told him the roads were bad, so he was going to take me to work, well, I fell back asleep. He put on the plow and was all mad because I wasn't ready, so left me to drive myself. Fine, I can do that. The roads were wet, nothing else by 7:45. When I got to town I realized why they were in a big hurry, it was melting faster than they could push it!

Needless to say, he got called out of bed prematurely!! Destiny and John did tell me though, when they came in around 5:15 that the roads were a mess before the highway trucks got out.

Btw, I am free on Saturdays for a while!

Good morning!

We ended up with unexpected company yesterday. Sorry I disappeared! The vet appointment went off without a hitch. We couldn't even tell we had 2 cats and a dog in the back seat. We walked in and the receptionist says oh the whole gang is here? Uhh, NO! Think again Lady!

Not even close! Turns out Rocky's horrible breath problem isn't a rotten tooth after all. Apparently his mom never taught him to brush his teeth! Seriously he has the worse tartar and plaque build up she has ever seen. So he has gingivitis. Consequently he has a dentist appointment next Tuesday, so does Kenny but only one of their dentist appointments are at the vet!!

Our company was my friend D. She talked about her son a little, she also gave me the name of the little boy we are praying for. His name is Caden. He is still hanging in there but it is not looking good. So we will just keep praying!

Good Morning to you! That is great that you got to visit with D! Tell her we are still praying for her and Caden!

I organize our local Colgate Country Showdown. I choose who gets to compete in the show, collect entry forms, send them to Nashville in time, have to find a sound man,emcee and the judges and I have to make sure all the ads run. I also answer all the questions contestants have and make sure they get there on time and in order of appearance. I run the show! But, not by myself, Destiny and Tonna and my family are good to help with whatever I need. It is mostly fun although I get a little stressed at times, but it gets easier since this is my 4th year of doing it. The first year I was thrown in with absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I learn something new every year. My biggest problem is sticking to deadlines. I always have someone at the last minute with a sob story and end up letting them compete. Tonna has promised to help be my backbone this year! Right now I am in my first steps, setting deadlines and getting the ads ready to run. Then it will be 6 weeks of people calling with questions and wanting entry forms. I am also already considering my judges, checking to see if my sound man is definitely available and reading over all the rules to make sure nothing has changed.

Glad the animals all got good reports yesterday. Last night Thunder and I had some bonding time by going to town and getting ice cream. He was really good and had a good time. On the way in I turned up the radio and sang at the top of my lungs Carrie Underwood's Before He Cheats and by the time it was over, Thunder was howling! I just pretended like he was singing right along with me!!

We also let the ducks swim for the first time yesterday. They were so cute diving and shaking their little tail feathers! I will try to get pics posted this afternoon.

I am a softy too and would let someone slide by the deadline too! Its sweet of Tonna to be your backbone!

I love to sing in the car too! I am SURE he was just singing along. We had ice cream last night too. Kenny makes awesome ice cream

Chickenchick....I will include a toothbrush with your package of pickles! It's blue and plays "Who Let The Dogs Out" so Rocky will know how long to brush! Glad you got to see D. Little Caden is in my prayers.

Michelle....I have bowled all my life. I was in a league in high school and in leagues up until about 6 or 7 years ago. Our team broke up because of injurys and moves. I just never got back in it. It really doesn't matter how well you bowl. The important thing is to have fun!

Anyone heard from NY or Jazzy or RIR or.....I'm sure I'm leaving someone out...Where is everyone anyway?

I have bowled on and off and have always enjoyed it although I am not as young as I used to be.

We will have to go to Chillicothe and it is 10 weeks on Sunday evenings, 2 games per week, 3 people per team, $10 per week, but if you complete the 10 weeks, you get a free bowling ball. It sounds like cheap entertainment to me!

We have also been challenged to defend our title at Trivia night for the Children's Advocacy Center next month. So, I guess I better brush up on my useless knowledge and put it to work!
