Awwww, they are soooo cute. I'm hoping to get some turkey eggs soon. Ed doesn't care since I take care of all the "littles", that's what I call all our animals, and they keep me happy

Good Morning!!

Quietheart--It is so good to "see" you again! We were all wondering about you! Sounds like you have been busy with little fuzzy butts too! Glad to know everything is going well in your neck of the woods.

chickenchick--You will be so proud of me, Destiny and I took Thunder for a walk yesterday! It got to almost 70 and the roads WERE starting to part way dry up (rain today) so we took off and explored some of a road we had never been down. We are going to have to work up to getting all the way down it, but we went quite a ways down it.

charmed--Are you wet yet? We have had a few sprinkles so far. They just bladed our road and got it decent again and now we will be back to the drawing board.

NY--Duck eggs aren't that much different looking than some chicken eggs. A silkie egg maybe, but Gertie's looked pretty much like a plain ole creamish white color chicken egg. But, if you are hatching bantam eggs, we could sneak in a few guineas for ya! They would really keep down on the tick and bug population around the cabin, your renters would love it!!

Good morning!

Michelle isn't it exciting when the road dries up enough to go for a walk! Ours dries up then it snows! I bet you all had a fun time too. I haven't been able to run for almost a week now. I sprained my ankle and it hurts just to walk on it. Kenny told me to stay off of it but how the hel* does the laundry, supper, animals..... get taken care of if I am on my butt

I swear I can feel my butt getting bigger

So when you walk will you go an extra mile or so for me

Quiet congrats on your fuzzies! I am hoping for guinea eggs from Michelle when hers start to lay.

My cousins funeral is friday in the city. We plan on checking the feed stores for guinea babies because it is driving me crazy not having the bator or the brooder wasting electricity

I still will want Missouri babies though

We were afraid with Thunder being an older dog and not used to walking that much he wouldn't make it far, but that pup kept right up with us! He was all over the place sniffing and peeing on everything! I think he would go as far as we will take him!

Unfortunately, I am down in the back today. Go figure, I finally got a good night's rest and must have slept hard and all wrong! I am hurting really bad on my left side and it is almost too uncomfortable to even sit in my chair. I thought I would shake it off, but it hasn't gone away yet. On the bright side, I did get some sleep last night after several nights of interrupted sleep. It was really starting to take a toll on me.

Oh I know how it feels to not sleep good. You poor thing! I am glad you got some sleep but sorry you hurt so bad. Does this mean you have to do your job standing up

!? Does Aleve or Ibuprofen help at all? Maybe this could be your ticket to an early quiting time

Is the news on Brandi still positive?

I took some ibuprofen, maybe it will kick in after while. Can you just see me standing at my desk all day?

I am thinking about going by Freddie's truck and going home and doing me some dog hunting! I have also considered naps in the afternoon and just staying up all night.

Brandi is still doing well. The doctor is calling her a miracle for making it as far as she has. If everything continues to go this good, she will be dismissed to the Hope Lodge by the beginning of next week! She has to be down there 100 days after the transplant, but at least maybe she won't have to spend the whole time in the hospital. I just can't believe the improvements she has made! Thank you for asking and keeping her in your prayers.

What is yummy on the menu tonight for supper?

I love good walks Michelle-congrats!

i have a confesion that I havent told anyone...I quit smoking-sorta-Im on chantix-its making me ill but it's helping thus far. Im on day 7? I can only take 1/2 the does because of how sick it makes me so it will be a few more days before Im done smoking all together but Dh is doing it too today is his quit date-say prayers for us not to kill eachother as I am REALLY testy haha

Congrats! I hope it works for you!! I am still really considering it and I am down to one pack, so I may go ahead and do it. I have heard a lot of people say Chantix makes them sick, just don't get yourself down doing it. I will send prayers and encouragement for both of you!

Michelle I hope the ibuprofen kicked in!

My friends husband used Chantix and it worked well for him. Also my husbands best friend just started using it. He has smoked for 35 years or so. He said it made him feel ill and tired for the first week or so but is gradually getting better. I hope it works for you and hubby NY.

I am so excited for Brandi! The power of prayer!

Last night was turkey enchiladas. I think tonight is Chicken Parmigiano. Kenny bought me the new Rocco Dispirito cookbook. He turns everyday things you love in to healthy meals. I have tried a few recipes and so far it was all good except Kenny doesn't like Roccos Magnificent Mayo.!

WTG sonew, I'm down to half a pack and may try Chantix, that's what my bro quite with too. We now have 3 chickies out and 2 more close to out, and it looks like our buff got to his hens before Chantclair could run him off at least twice
