Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

And a good sunny morning to you too! We are expecting thunderstorms tonight, over an inch of rain forecasted. We have Colton's FFA Banquet to attend this evening as well. Good food, but you have to sit through a lot of awards and stuff!

I am just now making it to work. I decided to take care of one of the things I had been procrastinating on, had to go to Princeton and it was closer to just go from home then come on down to work, so that is what Destiny and I did this morning. I had to pick up their graduation salutes to get them started this weekend.

Turkeys seem to be doing fine, no more casualties yet. I think the red bulb is doing the trick! I still have Tonna's ducks I need to take to her. It has been a week. We are getting attached. Goodness knows I don't need 4 extra ducks. Me wanting to add 2 to the flock turned into 6 already! I justify the 2 to add and the 2 to replace, but we still have 2 extra! Poor Frank just sits by the edge of his pen looking longly at the little ones in the pen not far away. I think he is picking out his future girlfriend! I thought he was happy with the geese, but now that he has spotted the new flock, he is really wanting to be with them. I am thinking maybe by fall.

I was really thinking it would be Casey last night, so I was relieved to have him another week. I will miss Aaron, but he will be fine. Des and I were chanting "go home big Mike!" during the break, we got so loud that Thunder started barking at us! I am looking forward to the songs from movies week next week.

Jimmie went out to check on Colton and Justin who are still clearing brush at the tower and Maddie was out there. I hadn't heard anything about her this week, so I was surprised. My first question was "is she going to get ticks in her you who?"

Hubby said believe it or not she actually was fully dressed! Colton didn't get home until 10 and I asked him how it went and he said fine, so that's all I got. Had I known she was there, I would have gone out there.

I am glad the red bulb is helping. Do you think hubby would notice a few extra ducks, really? Besides what if the one you give to Tonna ends up being Franks true love??

That could be devastating!

That is funny right there!! She better stay away from him or ................. I don't know, she just better!!

Hey Everyone! Got the yard mowed at home last night before the rain moves in. Gotta do dad's today. That's what I get for putting it off yesterday!

Chickenchick....Yea for Raymonds good grades!! I would have done the same thing too. I guess we are all a big bunch of kidders at heart. God help us when we do all finally get together. No one will be safe!!

Michelle....love your new tag line! Glad your turkeys are doing good! Wish I had new babies to play with!! Lol!

Gosh girls, busy morning again! Colton came up on his 2 hour "break" from school to ask more questions about his tower work and then I had to call the high school and vo-tech school to get him permission to drive tomorrow to pick up some stuff from Lowe's while he is down there. I appreciate their "no driving" rule, but come on. It is ridiculous what I have to go through just to let him do it!

Then Tonna comes in the middle of it. Her FIL called her this morning at work (very unusual) telling her he couldn't get her truck in reverse to move it. He wanted the tiller out of their garage. It was strange because it shouldn't be a problem. She called her MIL a little later to see if he got it and she broke down in tears about it. He has had a heart attack and is on coumadin, but they are having trouble getting his blood thin enough. She has also notice a change in his attitude, seems to have a much shorter temper. So, she came over to my office all upset. She and her hubby are going to take off half day tomorrow to see what is going on. I told her she is going to have to drag him kicking and screaming to the doctor and get him checked out. I am most concerned about a stroke or something like that!

charmed--I need you to come up today. Colton is taking my Ranger tomorrow and I told him I was going to drive his car! I need that lesson before I take off!

I hope Tonnas FIL is feeling better soon. It sounds like he has been through quite and ordeal. My Dad was on that drug at one time too. So was my Uncle. He forgot to tell his Dentist and almost bled to death while getting a tooth pulled. It is wicked stuff! It could just be that his system can not tolerate that particular drug. I hope they can get it resolved soon. It so hard when someone in your family is suffering in any way.

I have had a busy day. Sorry I haven't been on much.

I think I am going to paint large sunflowers on my Guinea house. What do you think? Of course I will have to wait until it stops snowing

I just got a text from Michelle. Colton hit a piece of barbed wire with the weed eater. It got lodged in his throat/neck. Tonna is with her at the ER. I will update you when I hear more. She is asking for prayers. The crazy chicken lady prayer chain is here by called in to action

UPDATE: They are out of the ER. He is doing fine. There is a tiny piece still in so they need to keep an eye on him. I am sure she will fill us in tomorrow. And our kids wonder why we have gray hair!!

I haven't heard from Colton this morning, but I think he will be okay. He was still a little hoarse last night when he went to bed and says it feels like he still has a small piece in there. I don't know if that is it or if he is just sore from the doc digging around. We will just have to keep an eye on it. It sure did scare me though!
