Charmed I miss you!!

Oh and I wanted to add something about the players holding hands. Am I wrong or is this to convey unity within the team? The reason I ask is when I had lunch with Brenda her boss told her to ask me why they do that because she thinks its "gay"

She says that is the reason they are losing because the other teams thinks they are playing a bunch of "ladies"

Morning!! Poor Freddie! I hope he's ok! I bet he'll have a couple of black eyes too.
Roz... Did you get your electric fixed?
Hey Tanya! I found some more websites. One is a support group in Montana. Have you heard of this?

Good morning Des! Tex!

I agree that it is supposed to show unity. That they are a team, not individuals. Coach is really big on "hand holding" and believe me he is in no way gay!

Good Morning Charmed!!

I am busily trying to find inspiration for a story plot to write my novel in November with Des!

Did I get my electricity fixed? Nah, I'm still cursing it.

For those who aren't up on this...

My son went to plug in an alarm clock radio in the garage into a surge protector. Sparks flew. No power to a bunch of outlets in the garage & some in the kitchen.

Went to the basement and found a small "mushy" circuit breaker. Came back up & realized the stove & refrigerator were also out.

Back down, range breaker was also tripped -- but thankfully, not mushy.

So, I have outlets in my garage that aren't working (including the one we use for the washer). Also some outlets on one side of the kitchen. Not sure what else as I haven't gone through the house testing them all.

However, this house is wired strangely. There is another outlet a foot or two away in the garage that IS working - it's on a different breaker. So, the washer is now plugged into that. We have a heavy duty electric cord pressed into service & the fridge is running off another outlet 3 feet away (the cord would reach but we'll have to pull out the refrigerator first). The range breaker was fine - flipped that back on & the stove is okay. So, everything that needs to function at the moment is working, though I have garage lights out.

Chimney people are currently here and after they are done or perhaps tomorrow I'll go buy a breaker. Then it'll be time to locate our electrical tester and put on my electrician's hat. I usually prefer not to wear that hat or wear the plumber's pants. Those are tasks I try to avoid. Ah well, I don't feel like PAYING someone to do what I can manage. I made it through grad school, I ought to be able to follow directions to change a breaker.

How about this?

8537_brown_lady_lg-373x450.jpg

This is one of the more famous ghost pictures It was taken in 1936. It is said to show the ghost of the Brown Lady who haunts Raynham Hall in England. This ghost picture is believed by many to be one of the best and most convincing of all the known photographs of ghosts. In many cases it is presented as actual proof of the existence of ghosts. This is due in part to the actual age of the picture. Being taken in 1936 eliminates a majority of hoax techniques available today. The Brown Lady of Raynham is the ghost of Lady Townshend who was married to Charles Townshend, When Townshend discovered his wife's less than faithful habits, he imprisoned her in the family estate at Raynham Hall, in Norfolk, England. He never allowed her to leave, even to see her own children. She remained there until her death.

I love it! Now I need a plot line for it!

What do you mean by a plot line?

Like what direction to go with it. I only found one "ghost" idea I like so far and I am not creative to come up with anything on my own. This is the one I found:
A smart, level-headed young woman, straight out of college with some ridiculous science degree - like nuclear fission or something - buys an old Victorian house in seriously good condition for seriously cheap in the town of the grad school she's attending. The place has been abandoned for a long time and everyone in town thinks she's crazy for buying because - duh - it's haunted!
The ghost is a sullen ticked off male around the MC's age who's determined to keep the house for himself. He tries to scare her away, but our MC is an unflappable scientist who is equally determined to stay because she got a seriously good deal on it and it's not like anyone would buy it if she sold it anyway. Thus ensues a battle of wills between the ghost and the young woman, not helped buy a crazy guy in town who's obsessed with ghosts, but too chicken to break into the house by himself. So naturally he befriends the MC immediately to gain access to the ghost who is less than amused by him.
