She got scared of the goose and almost knocked my Mom down. Good first impression, huh? She also proceeded to tell my Mom that she doesn't like any kind of animals except cats.

Back from classes & meetings with several students....then had to grade a BIG pile of tests. Still need to cram in some prep work for tonight's lesson...yeesh! At least the next four days have some breathing room.

Hey everyone, hope yall are doing good.
Been real busy and really depressed. Was hard to go back to work yesterday. Just as I pulled into the parking lot I broke down and had to pull myself together befor I could even go in. Not been in much of a mood to get on here lately.

Sorry for sounding so gloomy but it has been hard at work these past few days.
Still no suspects and seems like they are getting no where in finding out who did it or why.

It is total chaos at work and with everyone already on edge and dealing with their feelings in their own ways, sparks are flying everywhere between people while we all try to work together to sort out the mess of all the mail from the other office and get out own mail delivered.

Can't believe this was in a paper all the way out in Montana. Going by what the paper says in Memphis, it is no telling what others are saying. It was unbelievable how mixed up they had the story. They were saying a clerk was able to escape and even had her quoted saying something she never said and she didn't escape cuz she was with us in Ripley the whole time. It is nuts here with all the messed up versions of the story that are going around.

On a happier note, we got our mystery coop visitor. Just as I was sitting here typing the first of this post I heard my chickens making a fuss and one was really upset. I told Sevedo to get his gun and come one! There was a possum in the house but kind of hard to kill with all the chickens around so Sevedo hit him in the head with a crowbar to make him play dead then he picked him up at the back of his neck, carried him outside and shot him. Checked all my girls and didn't see any injuries so I guess the one putting up the biggest fuss was just about to be attacked but we saved her just in time.

Hope I will have time to check in on everyone tomorrow. Not sure if I am going to be called in to work or not. They just told me to be ready if they called. Don't know from one day to the next.
