Hello

I just tired to sign up for Twitter and all the user names i pick have been taken .

I don't know what name to pick are all the good ones taken i certainly don't want to have to be called stain or gravel

Gosh i tried like 20 and they all said taken

My daughter talked me into Twitter and though I haven't really figured it out yet, it is nice to see updates from friends, celebrities, etc. Other than that, I don't know what it is for. Facebook is blocked at work, so at least I have that to play with besides BYC! Biggest problem is that I am not too exciting to read about!

I think mine is public. The problem I have found with that is the same as myspace. You have people that choose to follow you and they are advertising pornographic sites. I always check out profiles when people want to add me and if they look nice enough, I let them, otherwise I block them. My user name is Shaw1017

I just started looking for people. Around here Twitter hasn't caught on much, but I have found celebrities, CNN and people like that. When you find someone, go to their profile and click on "follow" and then on your home page it will have updates on those you are following. Make sure if it is someone famous that it isn't someone just pretending. You can usually tell by the number of followers they have. You will be notified if anyone is following you and you can choose to block them if you want to. Also don't forget to put in the box in like 160? characters or less what you are up to. You can also send PMs to people too, but I haven't done that yet and you can comment on pics. That's about all I have gotten out of it so far.
