I am glad your kitties all survived their surgeries! I have one I have put off taking it, I suppose I should. I am also debating on Thunder, but the poor guy is 8, so I hate to do anything to him now. We are just playing it by ear for a while.

Good Tuesday Morning!

Our football team got their butts kicked again last night.

But Colton got in some good blocks and tackles, so I was proud of him! He also has poison ivy all over him, so he was pretty tired and miserable last night when he got home!

Hi everyone! Geez..My internet at my DF's messed up (long story) and I just now got it fixed.

Talk about going through withdrawls.

I kept thinking about you all and I couldn't talk to you! I am going into the city today and get the trailer wires fixed on my truck so I can pull the horse trailer and have brake lights. There is a short somewhere. I am also going to go by the cell store and finally get a wireless card. The stupid store in this town wouldn't even answer the phone yesterday.

And I was desperate too!!! So maybe I will have internet at home tonight?!!? Everyone keep their fingers crossed!
So glad everyone's weekend went Ok! I sure love the weekends but miss our conversations!

To me, going to town is where I work and mainly shop about 7 miles away. (we live in a "village" of about 60). Going to the city is traveling to Kansas City, almost 2 hours away.

What does one consider a 'city' vs. 'town'?

The term "city" is what I use when I'm going somewhere where the traffic is horrible!!

Town was used because I grew up here. It will always be a town. Plus, since we have moved to the country..going to any "city" with lots of traffic is not something I look forward too! Welcome to the thread!!

You know, Michelle, I am real close to Butler! My uncle still lives there. When exactly are you going to be there? You are going to a highschool game? I have a friend who teaches in Butler and lives down the road from me. See how close it is!!

We travel to Butler on Friday October 9th for a high school football game!! Don't ask me how we ended up getting them on our schedule, but they came here last year and now we get to go there this year. See, I told you we have to travel many miles this season! I am not familiar with the area so I didn't know how close you were to them. It just doesn't make sense to go back north that far after the game on Thursday in Columbia (doesn't start until 8) and then turn around and go back to Butler the next afternoon (with little sleep). So, I just put in request for the tickets. If not, we will still definitely be heading to Butler anyway. That is so neat that you are that close! Will you be around?

Butler is a long ways from you. What a road trip for the kids! They'll be to tired to play by the time they get there!
