Can you believe it is already Thursday? And a long weekend coming up?

right? God is good to me and my family-we have had our very bad downs but when we are up we are UP! Now we are up despite all else not going right around us!

A very long weeknd for me! Im taking Monday off and that Friday! Ive had enough-youd think with all this running around and stuff I would have lost weight-but noooo I think Ive put 5 on! too much special juice when I get home and late night snacking--

I don't have much planned for the weekend. We have a game tomorrow night and going to watch the MU-Illinois game on TV Saturday afternoon. Destiny and I would like to fit in a picture adventure maybe on Sunday. And another game Monday night. I am looking forward to not having a whole lot planned.

I have noticed I have put on a little weight lately. Too much snacking at my desk I am sure. And it doesn't help that my Mom keeps baking cookies and sending them over. However, I think I shed a few pounds last night. We had 2 ducks and the 2 geese escape again yesterday. Chester just doesn't know the drill about going back in the pen, so he took me for quite a walk around the yard before finally giving up and joining the rest! He is such a big guy and we haven't had him long enough for me to fully trust him (and he feels the same about us) so it took a while.

I am very happy its the weekend soon. A break from work.

But I am going through torture without being able to buy any more chickens or build anything until (building-November,buying chickens-December)

Hi girls! I am sorry that I worried all of you! Thank you Michelle and NY for the PMs.

I have really been feeling lousy. Then yesterday DH talked me into spending the day on the boat for some needed R and R, no not the Whiskey!

When we got home our new kitten was very ill. She passed away about 1:30 this morning so I didn't get much sleep and it has left me pretty upset. I have had, and lost many animals but you know how there are just those certian ones that hit you harder? Well she was one of those and we hadn't had her very long.

I think we are going camping on Saturday for the big weekend. I hope I can get some rest, however we are going with a large group, and I just don't have the energy! Oh well, they say what doesn't kill us makes us stronger right!

It was very kind of you to be so concerned and I promise next time I will at least pop in quick or have DH post for me. I hope everything is ok with all of you. I have just skimmed through the posts but as soon as I get DH lunch made and my clothes off the line I will take some more time to read as I really want to see what I have missed with everyone.

Im so sorry about your kitty:-( Im with you about ones that you are just really partial too. I had a white silkie that got wry neck and it was so hard to put her down. I cried and DH was a little upset too. I feel your pain..

On a good note..

your back and safe Ido hope you take some R and R this weekend-Even if its with a big group only worry about you and Dh and youll have a great time-let the othes wait on you! Just know that you were missed and were glad your ok...

I know exactly what you mean by getting attached. We have several but there are those certain ones that really tug at your heart strings! I hope you have a great relaxing weekend, just take it easy. If it's a large group, let some of the others jump in and help.

Michelle enjoy the game! Ours is out of town and freshman aren't going. Next Friday is the first home game, I am really excited to see DS hard at work, being part of his team.

We are going camping tomorrow. I don't think my inter-net works out there.

So I will miss you all, but I will return on Monday evening or Tuesday morning. Have a great weekend everybody!

NY thanks for the support. I am really not in the mood for a huge group and every time my DH calls there are more people coming

. I am just going to lay low though and try not to worry about anyone else except my family. See I am usually the Hostess, the one with the special food for everyone, the waitress, cook, bar tender, everything, and I am just not going to do it this weekend.

Thanks! Our first varsity home game is also next Friday! The atmosphere at our stadium is so awesome, I can't wait! I will eventually try to post some of my pics. I am trying to take some at every game this year. One neat thing the coach makes our team do at the end of every game is line up in the middle of the field and raise their helmets to the crowd. It is a "thank you" for your support. If they win, they pump the helmet, if it is a loss they just raise them. They do this even at away games. My mom has pics of every single game of them doing that last year.

And that's right, don't worry about anyone else. As long as your family has something to eat, a place to sleep and relax, you don't need anything else. I know the feeling though, when we would go camping/ATV riding I would be the one who had to do most of the work because it would be mostly guys and they would leave the wives at home. Do you go to a park or campground or what?

If we don't find Charmed soon, I may have to take a road trip this weekend. But, she better have the Mizzou game on when I get there, I don't want to miss it!

We go to different places. This weekend we are going to a Lake called Tiber. It is my least favorite place of all of our camping spots. It is on a dry dusty, windy prairie, no trees, no beach(just stinky mud). You can't get close to the water unless you are in a boat. We have another lake ,Frances that I like better. There are actually camp spots, trees, tables and grass! Also power, which really isn't a huge deal, I don't mind roughing it, a little!

I would rather stick around here and wait for you girls so we can head out and find Charmed!
