My mom is a pretty neat person. She drives me crazy most days, but she has been really wonderful and supportive. She doesn't miss anything for the kids, even the long football road trips, state fairs, anything we want to do, she pretty well packs up and is game for it. She also bakes for all of us all the time. She is famous for her cookies around here, especially her date pinwheels. Everyone calls her grandma and knows her when she comes around. Her and my step dad live 32 miles away and she is 71 today and he will be 72 Christmas eve. She even kept Bailey as a baby and bottle fed and took care of her for a few weeks right after I brought her home. People are still asking her about her baby, but she lives in town and can't keep a goat. But she enjoyed having her around, even fixed a "diaper" bag for her! For her birthday, (she is so hard to buy for) my sister and I bought them MU tiger stadium seats. We are taking them to their first game next month!
It has been forever since I have played horseshoes. We are going to have to brush up on that before we go visit or she will kick our butts too!
