You're tooo funny! I don't usually look anywhere else. Yesterday I decided i was missing out! You guys were talking about stuff I knew nothing about!! So I have ventured out!!! And...........I found my way back too!
Hey, I was just looking in a catalog called the Lakeside Collection. They have a Pet's Eye View camera for $27.95. My DD is thinking about getting one to set up in her laundry room. (Grandson has been taking $$) She can't afford a video "spy" camera but she could hide this eye view camera. Takes pics at 1, 5 and 15 min intervals and holds 40 pics! I would love to put this on our Jack Russell to see if he leaves the kittys alone all day!

That would be a breat idea..or what about those cmeras that take pictures based on movement??

yes, that is what I think I am talking about. For your daughter to use in the laundry room it might be worth it, but I don't think it is for me to just satisfy my curiosity on what my animals do all day! lol

It is a better day around here, but getting busy. It is bosses' day, so we gave him his card and gift. (massage certificates) and now we are gearing up for the parade and football game! We also broadcast the parade and do a remote from the grounds, so we are trying to get everything ready for that. The van is going to the football game tonight, but I am going to pick it up afterward and take it home and get it ready tonight. I have already scoped out my spot so I know where to line up. I need to remember to grab the tootsie rolls to throw!

Colton called a bit ago to remind me we are doing the petting zoo. I had heard there was going to be one and had people ask me about it, but wasn't sure until he called. I won't be around to help, so it is up to the boys to get everyone to town. They are bringing both goats, both geese, all 3 ducks, 2 chickens and 2 turkeys! So, I guess I will be spending my day with them all tomorrow!

Happy weekend to you all! Have fun at the parade Michelle and don't freeze your booty off. Also good luck at the game. NY I hope you come home with a deer.

I spent all day preparing potatoes for the freezer and cleaning house, doing laundry and I cleaned out the coop. Also I cut down my mammoth sunflowers. I made homemade pizza for supper and it is in the oven now. I am beat. This strawberry daiquiri tastes really good! Happy friday!

Yep! I just froze them. Actually I cubed most of them and sliced some for scalloped or au gratin potatoes. Then I parboiled them and put them in gallon size freezer bags. I ended up with 13 bags! Took me 4 1/2 hours! This way they can be used for hash browns, mashed potatoes, soup or just plain old boiled potatoes. My FIL said he has 3 cases of brand new canning jars I could have, but I have never done that. I really should learn how to can. I have the kettles and such. My Mom was big in to canning so I have all of her things. Do any of you can? I do have some potatoes in the veggie bin and in the fridge in the shop, they should keep for a while for baked potatoes. The ones I froze were in a wheel barrow covered with a blanket in the shop. I was out of storage space! I was afraid they would freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw and rot!

I have never canned anything either, but my Mom does. I keep telling myself I need to go over and watch her and learn to do it. Hubby's grandma used to can potatoes and they were the best tasting things! I would take them camping with us. Just open a jar and drop them in a skillet or wrap in aluminum foil and everyone loved them!
