Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Darn! I am sorry about the game. I sent winning thoughts your way too! I hope your having fun at the parade and not freezing your butt off! Hot chocolate with cinnamon red hots (actually Hot darn schnapps but tell every one else you put redhots in it!) that will keep you warm, and happy!!

I was pretty disappointed in the game Friday night. The team that beat us really wasn't all that good. We just have so many injuries and make so many silly mistakes. I don't mind losing to a good team, but Friday night was ridiculous!

It really wasn't as cold Saturday morning as I thought it would be. The parade was fun. I heard some of the bands canceled because of H1N1, but there was still a good turnout. We had a blast at the petting zoo, but the girls sure were tired of being petted and on display before it was over with! I was holding Bailey (can't do that much longer) for someone to pet her and was rocking back and forth and she fell asleep in my arms! Bella also climbed in Colton's lap right before we left and took a nap. I was also a good girl and didn't buy much, but there were alot of neat crafts. The only thing I came home with was a Mizzou sign for my hallway and some kettle corn!

Destiny and my parents went to Wal-Mart Saturday and brought Destiny and I home a Mizzou snuggie!! Those things rock!! So, we cuddled up in them Saturday night with Thunder between us and watched Mizzou get beat! They are the most comfy things ever!! We are trying to come down with something, so they came in handy.

So, I got home Saturday and my hubby and Colton were moving my front door! They cut a hole in the house and put in a new door in a new location! Yesterday Des and I went shopping and came home and the living room carpet is sitting in the front yard! I guess renovation has begun again!

NY--Did you ever get to shoot anything or is it frozen pizza all winter?

Now, I want to hear all about Mocha!!

Oh Mocha is such a sweetie! We didn't get much sleep last night because she just couldn't leave the kittys alone. She is a very busy girl but has such a sweet personality and very smart. Her former owner was standing outside at the truck stop with her when we pulled in. As soon as I got out she came running right to me and wanted loves! I was immediately in love.

Boy can she get around on 3 legs! If she had all 4 I don't think I could keep up!

I get the impression she was strictly an outside dog. So she doesn't have much for manners and is an attention hog. However she has had no accidents in the house

yet and she is all ready listening better. We bought her a pink camo pet bed to match her pink camo collar and leash! If she thinks she is in trouble or she is just tired she goes right to her bed. She usually goes to it when told also. She will take a little work but she is a great dog and I am so happy we drove all that way to pick her up.

I have taken a few pictures and I plan on taking a few more and posting them soon. Thanks for asking about her.

I am glad you did not freeze your buns off!! Wow maybe if you left your house for a month it would be all beautiful and done by the time you returned! Just tell him you are taking a BYC road trip and we will all meet up! I love making home improvements, we live in a trailer so you can't do a lot. However I am still excited about the window(with the blinds inside of it!!) that we put in the solid front door 2 weeks ago!!

NY...Sorry you didn't get a deer. My DH and his friend worked on the deer stand all day yesterday. Are you bow hunting or is your gun season open already?

Chickenchick...Congrats on finally getting Mocha!! I'm sure she'll be spoiled in no time! BTW...I love canning! You need to just look it up on the internet or buy you a Blue Ball canning book. It is easy to do and I think fun too!

Michelle..sorry about the football losses. At least the Chiefs won this week! Your little goats sound sooo cute. I'm still trying to talk my DH into letting me have one!!

I went to town yesterday and bought all kinds of stuff for my Halloween party for my grandkids next Sat. We carve pumpkins and have a hayride and a big bonfire with hotdogs and smores! We do it every year! I think I have as much fun as the kids! I'm making Ghosts on Broomsticks, Witches Hats, Spiderweb Dip w/Batwings etc..etc...How fun!!! I'm excited already!!!

I thought about you and Mocha on and off all weekend, thinking about how exciting it was for you! I am so glad she is settling in so well so quickly! She may be so happy to be inside that you may not have as much problem adjusting her than you think you would. I can't wait to see more pics!

I am very happy with my front door, although I got up this morning and wondered why the couch was in front of it? I forgot about it being moved! It is a full window, so Thunder is enjoying looking outside when he is in. Problem being, the old door didn't fit near as tightly so I could string his leash in the house to hook him up and let him loose. Now I have to get the leash outside and bring it in and he has bolted on me a few times. I don't think he means to because he doesn't go far, but he is used to being hooked inside and running right out. He wasn't happy at all with all the activity going on this weekend, so he spent most of the time in his bed! He must think we are totally crazy!

We got a door with the blinds in it for the backdoor, but it hasn't been put in yet. I was thinking the living room/dining room/kitchen/utility room project was supposed to be on hold until at least spring, but when the boys are set on something, there's no stopping them. But, it won't get done for quite a while, we can't afford flooring and all that sheet rock right now. Destiny and I are going to put a coat of paint on the walls just because we want something different, and then when we are ready we will completely sheet rock it all. I am still wanting to tear down some more walls too. Problem being, hubby isn't keeping an open mind. Any time I mention tearing something down, he wants to put one back up! If I left the house for them to do the remodel, It really is hard telling what I would have when I got back!!

Oh I am so jealous of your Halloween plans! I miss Raymond being small! This was our favorite holiday! We always made Carmel apples and went trick or treating, for a time we went to either a church party or a kids party at the college where I worked. Now he is all grown up, and this year he won't even be around for Halloween. He leaves Thursday to go on a Caribbean cruise with his Dad.

Have lots of fun for me and post some pics if you can.

Thanks for the canning tips I am going to see if I can find that book on-line. It seems you may have mentioned that to me before? I guess the mind really is the first to go, no, wait that was my waist line!!

My hubby has an open mind if you catch him on the right day!! Your house sounds so nice and spacious. I am happy with our trailer for now but of course I have always wanted a huge kitchen and a big bay window! Oh well, I would live in almost anything to stay in the country!

Mocha is laying at my feet!!

What time does this party get started? My 3 and Luke are going to the Mizzou game, leaving me behind!

I could probably bring you a goat on down if you'd like.

We are still planning our Halloween shindig here at the station. Of course, we are mostly procrastinating, but we will throw it all together on the big day I am sure!

I was surprised to hear the Chiefs won yesterday. Can't say I am a big fan, but Mom and sis are. There were several games this weekend that surprised me! I didn't get to watch as much football as I wanted to with everything going on.

I am being a bad girl and not going to Colton's game tonight. It is 2 hours away and doesn't start until 6:30 or 7. I just don't feel good and think I would be better off resting. He is okay with it, but it will be the first one I have missed in 3 years.

It is not really that spacious, but I am trying to make it that way! It is actually a pole house. So, any walls can be torn down. I want to open it up as much as possible. As you walk straight in the front door now, you are in the dining room. It is completely open and the kitchen is right past it. Off the kitchen is the utility room walled off with the back door in there. To the left of the front door is the living room. By moving the door, it has allowed the living room bigger. Then the hallway. Destiny is on the left and the linen closet. On the right is Colton's room and the bathroom. Our room now takes up the whole back of the house. There is absolutely no storage anywhere. We have no attic or basement. What I am wanting to do is tear down the utility room wall it shares with the kitchen and part of the wall that would lead to the living room. Open up the back door to the rest of the house. Just leave enough UR to put the washer and dryer in. Then somewhere build a pantry. Ah, the dreams! But I am with you, I would live in a shack then have to move back to town!

I have been trying to come down with something since Friday. I have been blowing my nose, coughing stuff up, cold chills, all the fun stuff. I don't feel really bad, but tired and stuffy. I don't want it to get out of hand, so I have been trying to take it easy. Which is hard to do with everything going on. I am really feeling guilty for not going, but I made my decision and hopefully I will feel great to cheer them on in district play on Friday!

ETA-- Have you ever been to Maryville? That is a miserable ride all the way over there!
