Boy girls it is cool and windy here this morning! 25 with a strong wind. No snow yet though. Charmed, Eddie sounds like a cutie pie! I could not imagine a life without pets again. My FIL thinks we are stupid. He thinks pets are messy and a waste of time and $. I grew up not being able to have pets and swore I when I grew up I would have all the cats I wanted!! I may have gone a little over board, lets count... 9 outdoor cats(but hey they are employees, "mouse engineers"), 4 indoor cats, they are employed as pillow and feet warmers, 3 dogs and 21 chickens! Our big dog Bruce used to hang out with the oilfield guys every day. Well he got caught in the neighbors sheep. The sheep herders will shoot him if they see him so he has to be on a cable. We feel so bad having to do that, as he loves to run and now just pouts. So we decided to scrounge up some used fencing material and put a up a fenced in area at the back of our house. This way when it turns out a little redneck you won't see it from the front. Well FIL says, well you know what I would do. Yes we know ( he would just shoot the poor thing
). Can you believe that! Its not Bruces fault we let him run around free all that time. If we hadn't he would not have found those sheep to begin with.

And yes, Pocono did get to stay in last night. Hubby didn't notice and I just left him be when I turned the lights out. I am also quite sure Johnny stayed the night with Destiny. Unlike you, mine are unemployed. Fired for loafing on the job. Our only mouser is prissy miss Oliver. She knows she has to earn her keep to stay in the garage. Actually right now all my animals are free loaders, the chickens still aren't putting out either! But I still love them all (mostly).

Oh my goodness! You made me choke on my coffee. Hubby is always saying oh we can't do that we aren't that redneck! First off, he is in denial
Second, since before I moved in out here there has been an old run down camper sitting over by the shop. It is mouse infested, falling apart, has a big hole cut out in the back (but honey its boarded up
) Now the door is chained open so the cats and dogs have another semi dry place to hide!

We are about as redneck as they come! The boys, whether they mean to or not, make sure of it! They are mechanics, so there are always junk cars around along with other misc. stuff in the driveway and yard. lawn mowers, other machines we might be able to use parts from or "make something else out of it." Our pens are also built "uniquely".
AC/DC acquired his name because he had a twin brother and we could never tell them apart. So, we gave them the name collectively. The other one is gone now. Johnny is their younger brother and looks just like them too, but he is very vocal and spoiled, so it doesn't take long to pick him out. June is a female version of them, but much more petite. Pocono has the torn up leg and scruffy look, so he really stands out. I guess hubby decided he wasn't going to win the fight, because he didn't even mention Pocono being there. Either that or didn't notice him. You can't sneak Johnny in, he practically screams at Destiny if he is not getting the attention he deserves! He has even learned to climb the stairs to her loft bed.
