Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

After being gone since early Wednesday afternoon, I had quite a bit to catch up on as well. But, it has quieted down now. Have a great day!

Hey there gang, how is everyone this evening? Leftover turkey and green beans for my dinner here, hamburgers for the guys.

The fried turkey sounds great, I want to try that one year.

Best wishes on the upcoming new grandchild TerrieLacy!

Hi jazzy! We polished off leftovers over the weekend. I sent hubby to pick up sandwiches last night so we could have "guys night" watching Monday night football!

Did you see that Terrie is now officially a gramma now? There is a thread about him.

Where has everyone else been?

Morning everyone!

Congrats to Terrie!!

If I had a baby you would all be Aunts!! Honestly though it is something I can't make up my mind about. I just don't want Hubby to ever feel "cheated" you know?

I do understand where you are coming from. Just make sure it is a choice you both want. Don't have a baby just because you don't want him to feel cheated, do it because you both want to. You might also want to include Raymond on the conversation since he is old enough to input on it. Now, I will stop with the pep talk. All that aside, I would be honored to be an aunt!

So, Thunder learned how to fetch this weekend and actually bring the ball back (with some encouragement from treats). Like Destiny said, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! He is a little picky about his toys, but we are learning. He loved his stuffed football, but who knew they could put that much stuffing in one of those things?

He doesn't like rubber ones either. We got him a stuffed John Deere tractor with squeaky, but I took it away when he started to tear it up. He loves to hear the noise and takes them apart to get the squeaker out!

I took a tour of the animal shelter last Wednesday. Big mistake. I picked out at least 3 I think I need to bring home!

Destiny and I are thinking about volunteering to go out there to walk and socialize the dogs. They have some really neat ones out there. It just opened about a month ago and is already filling up. Very sad.

You can tell Christmas is nearing, we are swamped with ads for activities! And the music has begun! It is a fun but busy time around here.

All of this baby talk is catching!!! My oldest DD called me last night to tell me she is preggers!!! She has 3, her oldest being 14, youngest is 5. Her and her man have been trying to get pregnant for awhile now but she has had some female problems and didn't know if she could or not. She has lost a couple early on and is holding her breath on this one. I am the only one she has told and I was sworn to secrecy until she is sure it's ok. Sooooooooo...............I am telling you guys cause it is killing me not to shout from the roof tops!!!! She wants another child so bad and I am soooooo scared she is going to be dissapointed again. Everyone say alittle prayer for her. I told her if it's meant to be... it will be. So anyway..Chickenchick....If, deep down inside, you are ready to have another child, talk to your DH and see how he really feels. Michelle...I don't know how many toys Eddie has tore up looking for the squeekie! I guess it is just what they do. Fuzz everywhere! I know how you feel. But they have so much fun with them!

Congrats on the baby Terrie!!!

That is wonderful news!! I have already and will continue to send up a prayer for you guys. When is she due?
woot.gif
I promise I won't tell anyone!

Luckily the stuffed football Thunder has tore up is only a dollar at Wal-Mart. I had Mom pick him up some more while she was there today! The look he gives me when he looks up and has fuzz hanging off his mouth cracks me up every time! I let Jimmie and the kids play fetch with him instead of me so he will bond with them a bit more. He is so protective and clingy to me that he needs to be around them more. Hubby said he didn't hardly sleep Thursday night while I was gone. (Thunder, not him

And...Any interest in seeing the Harlem Globetrotters at the Sprint center on, I think, Jan 2nd?

I have no idea when she is due. She took a home prego test yesterday. I figure she's maybe 1 month along ??? We'll see. Harlem Globetrotters?? No, not really. Secret about me.....I hate basketball! I mean...really hate it. If you took me to a game I would have to slash my wrists in the stands! The Harlem Globetrotters were really fun when Meadowlark Lemon and Curly were with them. The only ones I know now are the two who are on the Amazing Race. Yea...Yea..I know I said I hated reality shows but I started watching The Amazing Race by accident and got hooked!

I am not big on basketball either, but I traded for 40 tickets and was giving you first crack at a few of them. The only time I even remotely enjoy it is the big NCAA tournament at the end of the season. Destiny and I have toyed with the idea of watching some this winter, but we will see. I remember seeing the Harlem Globetrotters when I was really young and loved it and I suppose if I had little ones I would think about taking them.

My Mom, Destiny and I stayed all night with my sister in Chillicothe Thursday after our Thanksgiving in Milan so we could go shopping the next day. We didn't sleep, so when I crawled in bed Friday night I was absolutely exhausted, but we had so much fun! We even went to St. Joe and got some shopping done there too. My mom is such a trooper! We even let her pick out some of her own presents and she really had a good time!

You're sooooo sweet!!! I appreciate you thinking of me!! I am so jealous you went to St Joe! We talked about going to my DH's cousins' house for Thanksgiving but he decided he wanted to stay home and rest before his big trip this week. I have stomped all around St. Joe. Did you get any good deals? I kinda missed going this year but I keep telling myself I saved money by not going.

Thanks again for thinking of me!!!!
