I am not big on basketball either, but I traded for 40 tickets and was giving you first crack at a few of them. The only time I even remotely enjoy it is the big NCAA tournament at the end of the season. Destiny and I have toyed with the idea of watching some this winter, but we will see. I remember seeing the Harlem Globetrotters when I was really young and loved it and I suppose if I had little ones I would think about taking them.
My Mom, Destiny and I stayed all night with my sister in Chillicothe Thursday after our Thanksgiving in Milan so we could go shopping the next day. We didn't sleep, so when I crawled in bed Friday night I was absolutely exhausted, but we had so much fun! We even went to St. Joe and got some shopping done there too. My mom is such a trooper! We even let her pick out some of her own presents and she really had a good time!
You're sooooo sweet!!! I appreciate you thinking of me!! I am so jealous you went to St Joe! We talked about going to my DH's cousins' house for Thanksgiving but he decided he wanted to stay home and rest before his big trip this week. I have stomped all around St. Joe. Did you get any good deals? I kinda missed going this year but I keep telling myself I saved money by not going.
Thanks again for thinking of me!!!!
We didn't do a lot of shopping there. I got my mom and mother in law really cute "grandma" sweatshirts at Penney's and my sister picked up some cool Mizzou shirts for Colton and I for Christmas there. We went to Kohl's who had some really good bargains and I bought myself a new Christmas sweater (hubby will kill me, but I haven't bought a new one for a few years now, I tend to go overboard on them!) and I got hubby's nephew's each a Mizzou t-shirt. Sis got mom a new watch and something for stepdad. We found the video game for Colton at Wal-Mart, they didn't have it in Chillicothe. And Mom bought Destiny a laptop notebook at Best Buy. Oh, and we went to Bath and Body Works and picked up a few fragrances. We topped off the day with a trip to Crackerbarrel for a late lunch! St. Joe is so much easier to get around in and they have added so many new places that is is so much easier for us to go there instead of the city. It is only like an hour 15 mins to get there and Mom let us try out the new TomToms so that made it so much more fun!
Of course I think of you! Any time I get anything like that, you are more than welcome to it. That's why I do it. I don't get paid for trade, but it is nice to have to give to friends and giveaways on the air like they are supposed to be for!
