He always likes to play Mr. Innocent. He will give that look like "I can't believe you said that/think I did that"! We still haven't let him get near any vehicles so we haven't had any problems with that again.

We have a few more things to add to the tree, so I will have to post another pic when it is done.

for your snow flurries! It makes it feel Christmassy! We have a skiff on the ground, but it is leftover from a couple days ago. We are headed to the "city" tomorrow to take care of a few Christmas things for Raymond. Also its grocery shopping time

Do any of you make peanut brittle? Kenny and I want to try our hand at it this year. I can't find my Moms recipe. I would love it if one of you have one to share. I googled it and found tons, but I would rather try one I know works. Charmed has a recipe for EVERTHING!! Oh CHARMED, calling CHARMED...............

Today I am baking and freezing banana bread for Christmas goodies. I am hoping to get my Zucchini bread started too

Hi Everyone! Been real busy this morning. When my DM first got sick, her doctor sent her to the hospital for a lung xray and then admitted her. She was there all weekend. The hospital has sent us a bill for $3700! Now my DM had medicare and great health insurance and never had to pay a dime out of pocket so I called the hospital to inquire. The first gal I talked to said it was coded wrong and she would fix it. I got another bill in the mail and called again. The second gal I talked to asked if mom had insurance and would send me an itemized list for me to bill them with. I told her that the first gal I talked to said it was coded wrong and she was going to fix it. Long silence on the phone. She then said she would get back with me. I get another bill in the mail and call back again. This time another gal told me it was all out patient and that is why the insurance or medicare would not pay. I told her No way they kept my mom in the hospital all weekend as an outpatient! Why would they do that knowing it would not be covered?? Then she said Let me get back to you. A month later I get another bill only this time they have taken $3000 off the origional bill and have charged us only $700. This really ticks me off because they are trying to bill my dad for their mistake! Anyway I had to get ahold of her Dr. and get them to release her medical records that clearly state she WAS admitted to the hospital that weekend. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

It makes me mad they are trying to cover their own pa-tooties and screw us in the process! Ok....my rant is over...

Michelle..your tree looks great! and so does Thunder! When I was going to alot of garage sales, I use to buy cheap kids stuffed animals for a quarter just for the dogs to tear up! It was cheaper than buying expensive dog toys that got tore up anyway! I got a snake once that they loved! I don't really know if I want to go with you and chickenchick on a cold blooded book tour. You two will have to remember I am a ninja master!

Chickenchick..I have never made peanut brittle before! But I have a recipe for the best zuchinni bread ever. A friend of mine sent me a loaf and I begged her for the recipe! If you get a good brittle recipe you had better share!!

Yes, a few snow flurries, no accumulation, but I hear we may be getting some snow Sunday and/or Tuesday? It is 28 degrees here, but the wind chill makes it feel so much colder! I am freezing to death and sitting in my office with a blanket around my shoulders. Oh how I wish I would have brought my snuggie to town today!

I think I heard a quiver in your voice when you said you weren't scared.

I told you that you could bring NY with you to protect you if you need to and we would probably let Eddie (I hope that's right) come along too. But I have to warn you, we are bringing Mocha and Thunder too!

Mom is going to bring over some stuffed animals for Thunder. We have gotten rid of most of ours. I think he likes them for the squeaky in it, but I am going to try to save those and put them in "sturdier" animals. So far, he only gets the dollar christmas toys from Wal-Mart, but I think I got the last of them the other night. Well, we did spend six dollars on the JD tractor, but he only gets supervised play time with it!

Doctors, hospitals, insurance all suck! We found out yesterday they are raising our group policy 25% for the second year in a row.

And I have yet to use mine in the 3 years I have been here.

I hate, hate, hate going to the doctor. On top of the outrageous prices they all charge, they give you the run around. Give 'em heck charmed!

My sweet husband invited me to go hunting

with him this year.

I couldn't believe it...the first time ever!

I never thought he'd be willing to share

his 'guy time' with me and being the

thoughtful man that he is, he even gave me

an opening day present. He calls it 'The First

Timers Lucky Hat'. I'm so fortunate to be

married to him. I have attached a picture of

me in my lucky hat.
