Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

It's a shame the way people treat animals. I don't care if they are meant for food or not. I am not a vegetarian btw...I do like meat. You know..you should tell your friends you're a vegetarian.. then they would bring you a great wrap or something instead of stuff you don't like. That's what friends are for!! Good luck on the ranch thing. It took my DH and I 23 years to get ours but it was well worth the wait!!

Slowly but surely I will get the word out. Hopefully by the time I get my ranch everyone will be in the "know".

Good Morning! I am back! Colton got impatient and quite frankly I was more than ready to go home! I relaxed on the couch last night watching Christmas movies on Hallmark channel! Tomorrow we are having a surprise birthday party for Tonna's husband, so I will go help set up and go for a while. Sunday we are supposed to have a dinner after church, but I am still not sure about attending that. All and all it should be a fairly quiet weekend. At some point I have to finish my shopping. I haven't done any since black Friday and Christmas is fast approaching.

chickenchick-- I looked up the chipshot and I think that is what hubby has been looking for to make potatoes in his big fryer! I guess I will have to see if maybe I can come up with one for him. How did the pizza burgers turn out? Our leftovers were wonderful! lol

charmed & rirluvr-- I agree with the KFC thing and much prefer eating what comes out of my backyard! But, their baked beans are wonderful and we also have Taco Bell in with them. Chickens & Mexican = 2 of my favorite foods! But, I have learned to get along without them and make my own or go elsewhere. Our McDonald's has overall really good service. If I get mad at them, I am going to be in big trouble, because we hit the dollar menu hard! (especially the sweet tea!) Like I said, Sonic burned down last spring, but they are in the process of fixing it up. I will give them another shot when they do open. Hardee's is overpriced and terrible service. Subway isn't bad, but just so danged slow. Other than that, we just have a few restaurants in town to pick from.

I like the ideas you are giving me for a title, but we wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes!

I am just not good at making decisions sometimes, even the little ones!

NY--tell us what you have been up to and what has been going on!

Where is jazzy and terrie?

It has been a long time for Terrie. I sent out a search party a few pages back. I think I remember sending a PM too. (I am telling you girls, my mind has wandered off

) Hopefully she will pop in soon.

The chip shot is an amazing little thing. I had no idea you could still get them. I have had mine since about the time Raymond was born! The pizza burgers turned out good. Raymond was thrilled and scarfed his right down. Hubby said they were great but to big. He also said it was to good to waste, took his time, but finished it! I ended up giving half of mine to the chickens. Although I did see a cat helping them finish it when I gave it to them this morning! They seemed excited when they peeked out the pop door and it was "warm"!!

I know what you mean. Christmas is 2 weeks away

My baking is not done, cards still not done. I am still waiting on gifts in the mail. I have not wrapped a single one. I am concerned Raymond doesn't have enough. I go through this every year. Then I end up over doing it. He didn't ask for much though. So I had to wing it a little. I am just sure there is something or somebody I forgot. Kenny and Raymond love this holiday, I could leave the stress way behind!!!

I have seen them on e-bay but not sure you can still buy them otherwise. I will have to look better later.

I have not bought anything for either child or husband yet.

I have a few ideas, but not gotten out to do anything yet. Colton didn't ask for much either. He wants money. Fine, but I want him to unwrap presents too. He is going to be so hard to buy for! On Sunday he said he needed to get a new pair of leather gloves before too long so I thought great! At least a little something he actually needs/wants. Yesterday at Orscheln's when he was picking up dog food he came back with a brand new pair of gloves!

It wasn't much, but there went my idea. I usually end up overdoing also, but it was easier when they were younger and you could just pick up a bunch of little things to wrap! And most of the ideas I do come up with I pass on to other people so they won't have much trouble buying for them. I will get it done, eventually. Not even doing Christmas cards this year. I just get too carried away and stressed by them. I will send out a few but not many.

I am going to guess Terrie is busy getting ready to see that new little one. Who would blame her?

Good Morning! It's sunny here too. Not sure of the temp but the wind isn't blowing so it feels great!

Michelle...If all Colton wants is money, why don't you give him a scavenger hunt. You could hide money all over the house and make him follow clues to find it. It would make it seem like he's getting more that way. You could hide some in the freezer, under the dog bed, in the cookie jar..etc. Leave clues like...where does Frosty keep his pocket change? Just an idea. We had a scavenger hunt for the kids last Halloween and it was a blast. My DD did one for my birthday one year and put one of the clues on the horse's halter. I had to walk clear to the pond to get it!! I could help you come up with some more clues it that's something you want to do.
Chickenchick...How do you make buns? I have always thought I would make homemade tortillas for tacos but not done that yet either. I just copied a recipe for Pull-apart Bacon Bread that looks real good. I am going to try it this weekend and I'll let you know if it's a keeper. Bacon is one of my downfalls. Anything pork really. I can't raise a pig here to butcher cause I can't make friends with my food!

NY..Are you ever going to slow down? Come talk to us awhile. How's everything going? Did you find your missing bird? How's the weather? Hello?????
rirluvr...I am going to have to start listening to more country music. Will you bonk me over the head if I tell you I don't know that song?
Terrie??? Oh Terrie!!! We're all looking for you!!!

For my buns I just use my favorite bread recipe in my bread machine on the dough setting. Then shape, rise and bake. It took me a bunch of times to get the size right! We ate alot of misshapen or "way to big" buns. You know where the bread was 5 times as thick as the meat! Yesterdays turned out just right! I have a recipe for corn tortillas if you are interested. This was always a treat when I was growing up, because Dad made them! I am sure Mom probably mixed everything up and got him all set up!

But I remember Dad standing in front of the electric skillet pouring the batter out. One time he put one of Moms frilly Holiday aprons on!

For our birthday dinner we got to have any thing we chose. That was always what I chose! That bread sounds great! I love bacon too. I hope it turns out great for you! Can't wait to hear.

I love the scavenger hunt idea! That would be fun to watch!! Do it, do it!! (Peer Pressure!)
