I went to let the girls out today for their sun tanning session and none wanted to come out. Agnus is in a corner eating away but I noticed Hilda in the nesting box and her twin sister Matilda standing at the edge of the nest looking in. It is weird because this is the first time I have seen this. Usually if they want to be indoors they take their place up on the roosting pole but this time Hilda one of the small ones was in the nesting box. I hope this means she is going to or at least seriously considering giving me my first egg. I'll let you know if anything comes of this or if they were just messing with me. Those crazy chickens I tell ya.

here is a pic of my girls. Hilda is the one in the front hugging the spotlight, Agnus is the one in the middle. Matilda is the one at the end. If you can see in the distance is my cat who because of the chickens has been feeling left out lately.
