Destiny and I need to make a trip to find better shoes. Our tennis shoes work great for lounging on the couch and getting us to the fridge, but we need something with a little more support. A good walking shoe is in order. Oh, and new sports bras. Maybe we can get that done this weekend.

The boss is gone today, so maybe it will be quieter around here. I am living for Friday right now, but remember, I have to be in on Saturday too. Only 9 more weeks! I just feel blah today.

Good Morning! and Good Afternoon! I had to get Dad's pills ready for the week and also pay about 7 bills so it took my morning! My DD didn't see the ghost last night but stayed awake until after 1am reading cause she was scared. Her DH slepted on the couch. He's being a wienie about this whole thing. She finally went down stairs and begged him to come upstairs just until she fell asleep. He did and then came back upstairs at 4:30 to check on her. She was soo exhausted she slept right through the usual time the ghost appears. She took some more pics and is going to email them to me on her lunch break. I will post them as soon as I get them. I have been thinking this morning that I should go over there and spend the night with her maybe friday. I have to go buy some sage. I can't find mine. One of these days I need to unpack. I have only been here for almost 3 years!!! I just started a rant and erased it all. I am alittle upset at her husband but it will take me an hour to rant. So instead....rant rant rant rant rant!!!!!

Ok...I feel better now. Thanks for listening!! LOL!

Jazzy...I am ready for more stories! Also..I use powder creamer. We don't use alot of milk so alot of times I am out. I started buying milk in a box. It stays in the cabinet until you open it. It needs no refridgeration until then. And it keeps for months. It has something to do with the way it is packaged. Anyway...when I run out of creamer or milk and need it right now...I have some in the cabinet. It really has come in handy.
Purple...where are you??? Have you started on your treadmill yet?

Hello everyone

60 and raining.. beautiful rain .. yesterday we got a wonderful thunderstorm only lasted like 10 minutes though. Now it is back to trickling rain. Rain won't be gone until Saturday. The cat has been indoors all this time, I think she misses going out. The chickens do get to go out whenever we have a clearing in the rain.

OH and the GOOD NEWS! All three of my girls laid me an egg today before 10am.. that's right, Hilda, started things off, then Agnus and now Matilda is in the laying party. The cool thing is I can tell their eggs apart. Hilda is dark brown eggs. Agnus is light brown with speckles, and Matilda light brown no speckles.



Sonew, your scary story gave me goosebumps..

Its OK for her and the baby to sleep in there, but he is on the couch??!!

I think it would be great for you to go stay with her. Maybe the two of you can convince it to leave, or at least get it to sleep on the couch with her DH!!

I am stuck on supper ideas today. Last night was hubbys favorite, Hungarian Goulash. It is Moms recipe. He says I finally have it down. Last nights was almost a disaster though. I was only half paying attention. It calls for 2 tsp of Paprika. Well have you ever noticed how much alike hot chili powder and Paprika look??! I realized it just a split second before I mixed it all up. So I tried my darnedest to get it all out but it still had quite a kick! He liked it though and said I should add it on purpose next time! Tonight, something with chicken..........................

Hi charmed. No mud slides for me. All is good on the home front. Only bad thing about the rain from my end is that I am unable to go out for a bike ride. But as with everything in life, this rain too shall pass. I am glad it is raining because the lake I love to go riding at will finally get some water and the mountains bloom with beautiful flowers once the sun returns. Not to mention all that beautiful grass that grows and my girls love to eat. I have not read anything in the news regarding mud slides in my area.

Question to everyone: My girl Matilda's egg had a dark/red dot in the egg. I thought only fertile eggs had these specs... I don't have any roos and my girls have no access to any roos. Is this normal?
